The fabric is flimsy
The colors are pretty but they are very thin I’m hoping that they survive the wash if needed

Beautiful mats, but somewhat small and delicate thin fabric.
If you are looking for a rich subdued vintage look, these work beautifully. I did a cobalt blue tablecloth, these placemats with a silver underplate and cobalt blue plates on top. The look is very classy. However, I would have liked larger mats. They are not thick and I will be gentle if any need wiping down. They are special occasion quality only. For my everyday use I use corked back board placemats. After going over all reviews the mats I received were as expected, so I was not disappointed.

Pretty, beach themed, and easy to clean
These are perfect for my beach themed kitchen. I ordered a set and liked them so much that I ordered more. They are pretty and look great on the table with my teal plates. They are very thin as others noted but that doesn't bother me. A recent guest said “These are too pretty to use. Are you sure you want us to eat off of them?” I threw them in the washer (delicate cycle) and dryer (low heat), and they come out clean and unwrinkled. That’s an important feature for me. I am happy with this purchase!
