It struggles significantly when both the camera and subject are in motion. 👍 Strengths 1. Smooth Stationary Tracking: The device performs its core function well. The tracking is smooth and highly effective for scenarios like dancing in front of the camera or cooking demonstrations. 2. Affordability: It represents a strong value for its specific use case. 👎 Limitations and Technical Issues 1. Movement Performance: When the camera is moving (e.g., while walking) and the subject is also moving, the gimbal does not perform well. My videos were often jittery, making steady recording while walking a genuine challenge. 2. App Dependency & Resolution: Recording and tracking work exclusively through the Aochuan app. I was disappointed to find that the app did not offer a 4K video option for my Pixel 8 Pro. 3. Confusing "3-Axis" Claim: The technical specifications are a bit misleading. This gimbal features only two main rotating axis motors for stabilization. The third motor simply rotates the phone between landscape and portrait orientations. Other premium gimbals typically feature three actual stabilizing rotating motors, separate from the rotation motor. Who Should Buy This? 1. Content creators who shoot seated interviews or static cooking/craft videos. 2. Users looking for an affordable subject tracker for stationary setups. Who Should Avoid This? 1. Vloggers or travelers who require smooth footage while walking or running. 2. Users whose phones require access to native 4K recording features.

This took me a few times to play with to get the hang of it. Once I did, I loved it. The app that you have to download helps a lot in creating different scenes for videos. It’s a bit heavy but it’s made very well. Ive used it once on a vacation and it folded up nicely and compact. It comes with a stand and a flash which I have yet to use. I will play with it some more to see how that works. The battery life is not as long as I wished it would be. But overall I’m satisfied with my purchase for the price.

If I could only leave 0 stars I would. This doesn’t work with my phone case and there’s no way to lock it in place; it just spins around and drops my phone! I watched a set up video and this didn’t happen in the video. I tried reaching out the company for support and it’s in another language so not helpful. Unfortunately it’s a few days past return window and now I’m stuck with an item that doesn’t work.

Made quality is really good, doesn't feel cheap plastic at all. Could have some improvements like use it like a simple phone holder but whenever I try to keep it simple and steady the gimbal moves and make the shot difficult to keep at angle I want. Overall is a very good gimbal. And the seller is the best always keen to help and responsive.

Die Helligkeit kann mit einem Knopfdruck angepasst werden, je nach den Lichtverhältnissen. Das Licht ist sehr hell und gleichmäßig, ohne zu blenden. Ich kann den Gimbal Stabilizer von Aochuan nur weiterempfehlen. Er ist ein tolles Produkt für alle, die gerne Videos mit ihrem Smartphone machen. Er ist sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert. 👍
