Great for maintenance on your large knives. Doesn't work with small knives.
My son ordered this for me for my birthday. It really brings a nice razor sharp edge to my knives. Pros: It is easy to use, sharpens well, and has a stone side, and a hone side. Can sharpen 2 different angles. Cons: If your blade is extremely dull, you may need a more aggressive sharpener, and it's too tall to sharpen steak knife size blades. you couldn't use it for a filet knife, or paring knife. Works only on larger kitchen knives. The blade has to be taller and longer than the alignment block, or you cant use it. its excellent for maintenance on sharp knives. Less effective for dull knives that need some aggressive grinding, or blades with chipped edges.

Worth the Time for a Razor-Sharp Edge
This sharpener is a game changer. Itโs simple to use and delivers an incredibly sharp edge without requiring any special sharpening skills. The only thing to remember is that it takes patience. I spent about 6 minutes on each side of the blade, and the results were well worth the time. If you donโt rush the process and let the sharpener do its job, youโll end up with a razor-sharp knife. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and consistent way to sharpen their knives at home.

Easy to use even for an knife sharpening novice!
As someone who spends a significant amount of time in the kitchen, I was intrigued by the concept of the Tumbler Rolling Knife Sharpener. This sharpening system promises an easy and efficient way to maintain the sharpness of kitchen knives, which is crucial for any cooking enthusiast or professional chef. Ease of Use: The Tumbler sharpener truly shines in its simplicity and user-friendliness. The setup process is straightforward, and the magnetic knife holder is a game-changer, ensuring that the blade is securely in place during sharpening. The rolling mechanism is smooth, making the sharpening process not only effective but also somewhat enjoyable. Even those new to knife sharpening can achieve sharp edges without much hassle. Sharpening Quality: The use of diamond-coated discs is a standout feature. The D35 grit size is ideal for removing the dull first layer of the knifeโs edge, bringing back that much-needed sharpness. After using this sharpener, my knives easily sliced through tomatoes, meats, and even tougher vegetables like butternut squash, indicating a high-quality sharpening process. Edge Finishing: The addition of a stainless steel helix disc for burr removal is thoughtful and enhances the overall sharpness of the knives. This step ensures a finer edge, noticeable in the precision cutting it allows. This feature is particularly beneficial for those requiring high precision in their culinary tasks. Angle Options: Offering both 15 and 20-degree angle sharpening caters to a wide range of knives, from traditional to specialty blades. The strong magnets ensure consistent angles, which is essential for even sharpening across the entire blade. This feature contributes to the longevity of the knives, as uneven sharpening can lead to quicker dulling and potential damage. Design and Build: The Tumblerโs design is compact and robust. It doesnโt take up much space, making it suitable for small kitchens or limited storage areas. The build quality feels durable, suggesting that it will last a long time even with regular use. Overall Impression: The Tumbler Rolling Knife Sharpener is an excellent tool for both amateur cooks and professional chefs. Its ease of use, combined with the high-quality sharpening result, makes it a valuable addition to any kitchen. While it might be an investment compared to simpler sharpeners, the longevity it offers to your knives and the quality of sharpening make it a worthwhile purchase.

Works as advertised. Knives come out sharp.
Works exactly as advertised. My knives are sharp, and cut without a lot of effort. It took about 30 minutes to sharpen all of my knives, but well worth the time, and money.

Wears out fast
Works okay if the knife isn't too small but wears out after about 6 months of occasional use. It only has 1 grit, so you can't move through the grit levels to really refine the edge, and when that wears out the whole set is junk since it isn't replaceable. There are better things on the market for this price

Works!
Puts a great and fast edge on every knife Iโve tested. All pass paper test after. Maybe not for those who are suuuuper anal about getting the absolute sharpest edge, but perfect for someone wanting to restore their knives to near factory sharpness quick and simple.

Insanely sharp in minutes! So satisfied! Go for the real deal!
This is just completely incredible. With the Tumblr, there is no way you can miss a sharpening. This is so user friendly! I am amazed, simply amazed! In five minutes, I managed the create an incredibly sharp, scary sharp to be honest, on a chef knife! Before, I used sharpening stones but it was really mich more work. Now, with the Tumblr, I go from a pretty dull edge to a perfect one. When you use it, you know this will last long. The product is Top Quality! 110% satisfied! I cannot stop showing this wonder to everyone I know that come to visit!

Works and works well... but only for certain knifes!
I have bought a few different knife sharpeners and used them all, each one of a different type. There's really many ways to go for sharpening your knife. Each providing a step up in sharpness, but also a step up in complexity to use (both in skill and time it takes to sharpen). -Honing rod (not exactly a sharpener but does make it "sharper" in a way) -Sharpeners with a v ceramic in which you pull -Rolling sharpeners -Belt sharpeners -Rod based sharpeners -Whetstones I think the nice middle ground for most people is either rolling sharpeners or belt sharpeners. I bought this really because sharpening with this is really simple, it takes barely any longer than the ceramic sharpeners and does a considerably better job. I think though, there are some big limitations... -For one, the magnet (that holds the knife) works great for wide knifes, such as chefs knifes... but is too tall to work for smaller knifes, such as utility knifes. >>Having a second smaller magnet as well would solve this. -There is only 1 single grit and a honing side. This works well for general maintenance, but if you have a heavily damaged knife it will take longer to sharpen and because there's no fine grit, you won't get that razor edge. >>Having a course and fine grit and a strop would be better... Or offering sharpeners with varying grits. These are the limitations of most rolling sharpeners out there... the next step up of using a belt sander, though can be found in compact sizes, it a little less "friendly" to use and wouldn't recommend it to everyone. Specially if you have a knife with a nice finish and worry about scuffing it.
