Reviews say this is not a standard air fitting. is this correct? are threads sae or metric if replacing?

Correct. Is not standard. But you can find a fitting that converts it to 1/4 fitting.. I did it and the regular fitting works. Just be careful not to over tight the adapter or it will split open the blow gun.

Some people have been able to find a new fitting that works for this. Does anyone have the specs for it?
