Once I got it to work, it works well with my ThinkPad
I normally work on three screens, and that can be cumbersome when traveling so I thought this would be a great option for my ThinkPad. Once I got it to work, it works well. For optimum ease of use, you really need two USB C ports, ThinkPad has only one and the USB A ports don't offer video output so.... It took me a moment to realize that I needed to hook up the left monitor with the USB C to USB C connection, and then the right side with the USB C to USB A and also the USBC C to HDMI connectors. Now, for most people that isn't complicated. For me, a 54 year old technology impaired person, it took a hot minute. Now that it's all working like it should? I love it. The transition from screen to screen is smooth the graphics are great (to my untrained eye) and over all this will greatly impact my productivity while on a working vacation. All the cables you need come with it (2 of each- USB C to USB C; USB C to HDMI and USB C to USB A). They come with a handy travel case and I will say that these screens weigh as much, if not more than my ThinkPad does. I was surprised by that, but it's not an issue. I don't know why I thought it would, but it doesn't really attach to your laptop screen, it sits directly behind it--not a negative at all, more of an FYI. The only negative, and it really is more of a personal preference, but the design is such that if you have the screens pulled in too far, there is a notice able angle to the screens--they stick up higher on the outsides than on the inside of the screen--sort of angle up and for me, that makes it a bit odd, but again not really a negative as leaving them mostly open nullifies that issue. If you made it this far then it is only fair that I let you know that I did reach out to the seller for assistance with set up 7 days ago. As of yet, I have not received a reply. It was shipped quickly and was packed well but if you are looking for any type of assistance, the seller is not responsive.Hope all this helps someone :)

After you use multiple monitors you can't really go back, now you don't have to!
The prices on these external laptop extended monitors have come down and I selected this for the features, price, and ratings. I was surprised on how well packaged it was when I opened the box. Both monitors were well protected and separated for shipping and the packaging is so nice I keep it for storage when needed. The cables that come with it are almost what everyone will need (depending on their laptop/PC) to get up and running. Included instructions were ok but online searches for videos of setup were a bit better.Pros- good picture quality and bright displays- magnetic bezels make storing them easy and they align and close securely to protect the screens- very nice packaging with quality thick cardboard and interior plastic shells for cable storage- easy to assemble into mounting stand and adjust, hold their position well and no drooping or moving once in place- easy setup and universally plug and play displays, no crazy software to install or drivers to maintain- matte display finish that keeps glare and reflections to a minimum, I love this!!!!!- colors and refresh rate is excellent, can work on all day (9 to 10 hours) with minimal eyestrain/fatigueCons- My laptop with a powered port replicator still wasn't enough to get both monitors working, needed to get an external power adapter and USB-C cable to finish the setup, however the manual outlines this possibility very well and I was able to source the correct power adapter and it works very well. 1 double socket outlet powers the entire setup.- stand/base needs to be weighted to counterbalance the weight of the displays. When I close my laptop screen I need to lean this against the wall. If I try to angle the monitors to balance I end up with glare and my laptop screen at an odd angle.ConclusionI would definitely recommend this to friends/family. Have been using this for a few months now and colors are still great, images sharp, and as I have this on a desk I can setup to my laptop/port replicator with just 3 cables and 1 external power plug-in. When I do store/move this the shipping box is excellent to protect and keep this in like new condition!
