Quality, affordable, great company!
Had to put chains for the first time . These chains worked very well, they were easy to install and remove. Be careful to not over tighten them, like any chains, it makes it tougher to remove.

worked well on minivan
We used these chains this winter for our Honda Odyssey minivan and they worked well. I recommend trying them on your vehicle in dry conditions before you have to use in snow. Obviously it's a little harder putting them on in snowy conditions but still worked okay. We could only drive about 15-20 mph when the chains were on. But we were getting up hills that SUVs and pickups had slid off sideways.

Good chains for occasional/emergency use
These are good quality chains well suited to emergency use. I would not pick these if your need is for chains that will stay on for long periods of time - they are really too light for that sort of use. However, if, like me, you simply need a set that lives in the back of the car/truck and go on for occasional use, then these are great. The lighter weight makes them both easy to stash and easy to install and yet the quality is good so they are not going to fall apart first time you stress them. I used them recently to help pull another car up a snow-packed and icy hill they were unable to climb on their own. Without the chains - no go. With the chains - no problem. They held up well to that load.Note: the price is per pair so two sets cover all four wheels. Not sure why some reviewers missed that fact. Also: buy a set of chain tensioners to go with them because these do not come with any. No chains are going to stay put unless you use some type of tensioning system. I bought the rubber bungee type tensioners made by the same manufacturer: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005OIUQDY Just be sure to match proper size and these also work well and also stash easily.

Easily fit the Jeep, can't wait to try them in the snow.
Haven't been able to try them in the snow as of yet, but thus far, was able to easily put them on and take them off. You do have to make sure that you use the tire chain adjuster with the changes so that they stay snug on your tires. They fit on my Jeep. They are don't look as "beefy" as some of the other chains, but maybe they will still be fine.

Chains broke when used
The product was shipped and arrived nicely. We live in Southern California so we don't use chains often. Maybe once a year to go into the mountains. I used these chains for the first time this weekend and they broke. The metal cable between the road and my tire snapped and damaged the tire well of my car. On the other side the flimsy connection bent and damaged my actual wheel. Overall the cables look great in the package, but don't expect them to function on the road when there is snow and ice.

GREAT BUY
I have used these on my car 3 times this winter. I was able to put these on my car all by myself as a woman who is not afraid to do stuff on my cars. My car handled very good in Western NY winter I even put them on when we had the Blizzard this year. I am a healthcare worker so I get called into work on these tough winter driving days. I was able to watch the video on how to install them on YouTube and that was very helpful. You must remember to never drive over 30 mph with them on your car. But if your a smart winter snow driver and the road conditions are bad you should never be driving faster than that anyway. I want to buy another set. You do have to buy the yellow tightener separate but I recommend them highly.

Photo is misleading
Unsure if the chains are good or not (haven't used them yet), however, the photo they show is misleading... it shows the chains with the adjuster, and that is NOT included. It's an optional purchase. The product specifications did not make this clear, either.Aside from that, the tool Amazon used for determining which chains to use on my car (2011 VW Tiguan SEL) was very good.

Tensioners sold separately are REQUIRED for these cables, they fit very loose.
The cables look fine, well made, fit well but loose. 2 Stars: no hard case, the case is a fabric bag with Velcro too small to get the cables back in after you use them once certainly you won’t be able to stuff them back until you get back home AND you need the tensioners, but have to buy them separately AND the tensioners won’t fit in the flimsy fabric bag with the cables not enough room.
