Coast G20 Inspection Beam LED Penlight with Adjustable Pocket Clip and Consistent Edge-To-Edge Brightness, Black, 54 lumens,1 Pack

I purchased two of the Coast flashlights over three years ago, and they have proven to be indispensable tools for both general use and professional tasks. The compact and lightweight design of these flashlights makes them incredibly convenient to carry around, easily fitting into a work shirt or pants pocket. One of the standout features is their versatility in various situations, especially for inspecting dark areas at my job. Whether I need a reliable light source for routine tasks or more specialized applications, these flashlights have consistently delivered. The inspection beam provides clarity in even the darkest environments. The durability of these flashlights is another aspect that has left a lasting impression. Having owned several Coast flashlights, I can attest to their consistent build quality. These flashlights have endured regular use and occasional bumps without showing any signs of wear or performance degradation. The overall craftsmanship of Coast flashlights is commendable, and this model is no exception. The attention to detail, robust construction, and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment. Given my positive experiences with this particular model, I have confidence in the brand's commitment to producing high-quality products. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Coast flashlight for anyone in need of a dependable inspection lighting solution. Its small size and durability, make it an excellent choice for both everyday use and professional applications. Without a doubt, I will choose this model again when the need arises.

This is an amazing penlight! It is very bright, it's batteries are easy to find, and they last quite long in this model! It's durable, of a size that is easy to carry for EDC, but not so small as to be overly finnicky to use, or too easy to loose. It's beam is bright, and it generates very little heat with extended use, it's simple button on/off switch is responsive, intuitive, and easy to use It's also great for a variety of roles, from EDC, to your brief-case, to a storm-emergency. I also have to say here, this is an excellent light to carry around on your person, either in a shirt pocket or a trouser pocket, whenever the threat arises that you might loose power. You don't want to carry your most powerful torch, battery lantern, or spotlight around : because they are large, and because you don't want to run the batteries down. You carry this, because in the event of power loss in the middle of the night, this is a light! It is better than no light, and it gibes you the ability to navigate wherever you are, and get to a better and more powerful light! I know this, because I have used this penlight during previous said emergencies.

Foreword: This listing is for the 7817 flashlight, the picture shows a G20. What I received was in fact a G20 but it's slightly different from both pictures. Mainly: There is NO eye for a lanyard and there is a groove for the pocket clip to actually engage with. I personally love this thing. So far I've bought two and I plan on buying more until I have one in every room. Okay I'm exaggerating a little but I do plan on getting a few more of these. It throws a very focused beam within a small area so if you want a lot of light over a wide area this is not a light for you. I like that it's bright but not TOO bright. It's perfect for working on computers or under desks, inside engines, or anywhere with limited room for maneuverability. Why is this desirable? For me personally, when working in computers if the flash light is too bright there's the chance of getting blinded by reflection from a component. That's just one of the many things I like about this flashlight. A few other pros: -Uses standard AAA batteries (seems to have at least the stated run time) -Small (It's about the length of your average click pen and perhaps 50% thicker) -Light weight -Sturdy construction -Simple positive engagement push button (I dislike twisty lights) -Simple point and shine operation, no focusing ring to mess with -Comes with pocket clip (while the clip is sturdy and has a groove for it to sit in you can remove it if you desire. I don't recommend it as there will be nothing to stop the flash light from rolling away should you drop it or set it down on an uneven surface) Cons: -No eye for lanyard -No momentary operation (I tried, the end button is either on or off there's no slack) -Not really a con, more of a wish list item but it'd be nice if this came with some sort of "slip-on" filters, red/green perhaps. Overall this is great and I will be buying more.

I've owned two of these in the past five years. Nice slim profile for a pocket, though the clip does tend to slip off if you are changing positions frequently while wearing it in your pants. The first one worked fine until one day the spring in the power switch came misaligned and the rubber became dislodged; game over. For the price it's definitely worth it, and I carry it everyday at work. It has somewhat limited capabilities, not very bright and no ability to change the focus. As with all Coast flashlights, I like how evenly dispersed the field of light is. In a pinch it could be used to light a path in the dark, but due to the low lumens it has limited range. It gets the job done for most up close inspection purposes, and has a nice low profile so it's not cumbersome to carry all the time.

I love it. Feels well built. 10x better than using your phone flashlight to inspect small objects.

I am so so happy with this. I was looking for a flashlight to be in my EMT kit, so something that I could use to check pupil dilation and have as an inspection light. It feels super sturdy, and is made very well. Everything just works and there isn't extra stuff that you don't need on it, making it small, light but feeling like it has good presence in your hand, and also just super functional. I have noticed it does not overheat easily, or for that matter at all! It stays super cool (especially considering how bright and focused the beam is) and does not even heat up the part around the lens. Really loved this so much, its so perfect, also if you were wondering the clip can come off easily with intention, but will 100% stay in place and not move around when not wanting it to come off!

This is a compact inspection light that provides enough lumination to see fine details without oversaturating the subject. I have a many powerful handheld flashlights, but they are often too powerful for fine inspection, where you may want to look for subtle details or minute cracks, etc. This light is perfect for this use case. I've lended it to plumbers, electricians, and IT techs, and in each of those cases, they've indicated that they would be adding this inspection light to their toolkits.

I use this light everyday at work and it hasn’t let me down once. It’s very durable, light weight and it fits perfect in my shirt pocket. I work in the oil and gas industry and this thing gets abused everyday. It’s been raining on, it’s had bread and grime all over it and still works good!!

Gostei muito, dura bastante e foco muito bom

It works well, it does what a penlight is supposed to do

Great touch dose so much light and lasts long, still hasn't changed the batteries
