Helavo Upright Walker with Seat, Foldable Stand Up Walker for Seniors

I bought this walker after the one the NHS could provide proved unsuitable for me. It was easy for my carer to assemble, easy to manoeuvre and the brakes and seat make for safe and comfortable use. I have it on thr shortest setting but the height can be easily adjusted if you are taller. It's a game changer to improve my mobility and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with mobility problems. In my case I'd had pressure sores on both heels after a hip replacement and was delayed doing physio so my balance isn't great, but I'm sure this walker will help me get back on track. Money very well spent.

Wow an amazing piece of kit. Extremely solid and well made. Amazed at how low the price is for such a well made machine. It has to be put together but my husband said not too hard and didn’t take him long. A great alternative to using crutches or a scooter. I use all three as each item gives something different to the walking experience takes away the pressure on your hand, plus a seat when enough is enough lol. A bag to carry your bits and bobs in.

For several years I have suffered from constant lower back pain and arthritis in my joints. I also have Atrial Fibrillation and get very breathless when trying to walk any distance without help. Having researched upright walkers on the internet I was particularly interested in this machine. It looked and sounded impressive but nothing prepared me for the difference it is making to my way of life. Conventional walkers can be useful but most of them cause the user to stoop over the handles and, for me, this causes a lot of discomfort. With this upright rollator, for the first time in years, I can walk up to the local town or along the sea front where we are fortunate to live, keeping in an upright position and with no back pain or discomfort in my neck and shoulders. In addition to this I have had no trouble with my breathing. For me, what sets it apart from other machines are the adjustable and very comfortable arm rests which take so much pressure off my back when walking. They keep the body upright which alleviates the pain of walking. The machine is very well built, fully adjustable to the most comfortable height and, if you get tired, it has a good seat with a padded back rest. It comes with a one year guarantee which, upon registration is extended to three years. I feel that it is giving me a new lease of life and my only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner.

This is nearly perfect. I can actually take the dog for a proper walk using it without my back or my arthritic arm joints starting to hurt. The only improvement it needs is wheel suspension to allow easier walking on uneven ground

Speedy delivery. Assembly requires an experienced person to complete. The walker is well made and is fine for the job it has to do.

What a difference felt a lot safer and far easier movement

I found this easy to put together and once assembled was very impressed with the quality. For this money, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

As a wheelchair user who cannot walk due to back pain, leg weakness, leg pain and fainting spells this has been the ultimate blessing for those short trips just a few feet to the bathroom to help keep blood flowing and help me maintain the correct upright position. Yes at first my back ached alot in the mornings but persistence pays off. However if I was needing it out of the house it would be so far from ideal. It does NOT fold, simply concertinas in on itself and would not fit in a car boot, my electric wheelchair is my only option for this which is a huge disappointment as I was hoping I could use it when visiting family as their houses are not wheelchair accessible. Assembly wise my carer struggled but probably because they were too stubborn to use instructions but were fine once they did. Its very sturdy but the brakes are far from the best and dont work on lock. Overall the design is genius but needs some work. Also the cup holder would have been a fantastic addition if it was big enough to hold anything with a bigger circumference than a small Red Bull.

I received a cup holder to attach to rollator like in the picture but no attachment to put it on. Is this standard??

Pros: 1. Seemingly the only one of its kind in terms of functionality, seat width and quality! 2. It does the job! 3. The seat is just wide enough for a 2-3XL body. 4. Easily to fold and unfold. Cons: 1. I could barely fit it in my car even when collapsed. It doesn’t fit in my trunk. I wish it folded in two ways. Once in width and then in height. 2. Dangerous to navigate when having to take steps or escalators. Needs a bigger warning. 3. Gravel gets caught in the wheels easily. 4. Tricky on LA sidewalks which tend to be bumpy. It can cause the device to nearly topple over. 5. Instructions to were difficult to me. Although the assembly itself is fairly easy. 6. I wish there were more instructions on finding the right device height and arm length settings for the healthiest posture. Overall, the device is good and allowed my mother to walk for long stretches. It restored her mobility after being hauled up at homes for months with fatigue and knee pain.

Estupendo! Ofrece mucha estabilidad y al poder llevar una postura más erguida y parte del peso corporal está soportado en el apoyabrazos, la sensación de ligereza y seguridad es mucho mayor. La ruedas delanteras con giro 360º y gran tamaño hace que se deslice y gire muy bien. Solo le haría falta que las ruedas delanteras fueran más estriadas para poder agarrarse a cualquier superficie, aun así no creo que vaya a ser ningún inconveniente. Después de probar esta ayuda, el takatá de toda la vida se siente inestable, no hay comparación. El detalle del portabotella es genial. La única pega es que si la persona que lo utiliza no es muy alta, ya debe medir 156 cm, al utilizarlo como asiento los pies no llegan bien al suelo y no es posible regularlo.

Ho acquistato questo deambulatore con seduta per mia nonna di 95 anni, che ha importanti problemi di deambulazione, e dopo oltre 6 mesi di utilizzo quotidiano posso confermare che si tratta di un prodotto eccezionale e fatto veramente bene. La struttura riesce a combinare perfettamente due caratteristiche fondamentali: è estremamente robusta e sicura, ma allo stesso tempo molto leggera e compatta, ideale da manovrare in casa o da trasportare. Mia nonna si trova benissimo perché il deambulatore le permette sia di camminare in piedi appoggiando comodamente i gomiti per scaricare il peso, sia di fermarsi e mettersi a sedere in totale sicurezza quando è stanca, grazie a un sistema di freni preciso e stabile. La manovrabilità è eccellente: le ruote girano fluide su se stesse, permettendo cambi di direzione morbidi e senza sforzo anche negli spazi più stretti. Dopo più di sei mesi di utilizzo intensivo, i materiali non mostrano alcun segno di cedimento. Ad oggi non ho riscontrato alcun difetto da segnalare. Un aiuto concreto che ha migliorato la qualità della vita di mia nonna. Consigliatissimo!
