Very effective eco trap.
No harmful chemicals so no bad stuff for the birds to ingest. Put out late May / early June. This years apple crop on my 80-ish year old tree was not so riddled with maggots as in the past. Tip- I always add 2 extra strips of sticky insect trap tape to the trap as I've watched moths fly in and out. Plus I have a big infestatation so it increases the sticky area. (from the £1 shop) .

It is easy to use and greatly reduced the contamination of my Bramley apples in comparison to earlier years

Brilliant product
Brilliant product. Really effective control of this pesky, apple wrecking moth. Had been having trouble with bumper crops of apparently wonderful apples being ruined by their larva quietly destroying the fruit from the inside. The shock of cutting open a beautiful, rosy, apparently perfect apple and finding it totally manky on the inside! Once we'd identified the culprits and purchased a codling moth trap, all our problems were over. We have used the codling moth trap for the last 2 years and have had amazing crops of perfect apples. Our trap - now in its 3rd year of use - is once again hanging in our little orchard, with a refill in it.
