Living in the South, most of our cooking is done in cast iron, so a good scrubber is essential. This chainmail scrubber has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools. It does an excellent job removing stuck-on food without damaging the seasoning on my cast iron cookware. The silicone core makes it comfortable to hold, and it's much easier to use than I expected. Cleanup is quick, and it seems very durable. If you cook with cast iron regularly, this is one of those tools you don't realize you need until you have it. If you are debating getting just a stand alone piece of chain mail vs this with the handle, get this, its way better. Both my wife and I can't believe how much more useful it is with the handle.

Wow…it works perfectly on all my cast iron cookware - I also use this to clean my stove & anything that needs scrubbing more than a sponge provides . Just rinse it out - easy to hold - no muck on your hands . Wish I had found this earlier. Excellent product UPDATE July 8,2026- I am loving this scrubber more & more each day - I use the heck out of it & it has not diminished its effectiveness & sturdiness one bit .

This is perfect to use on cast iron pans it scrapes up the little bits that sometimes get stuck on the pan better than a scrub sponge.
