I can't recommend this enough!! My 5 year old is so excited for his experiment each day. The experiments are very fun for him, and simple enough that he can do most with little to no parent involvement (and the independence adds to the his love of it). I just have to help him read the simple directions and short explanation. As a busy parent, I also appreciate the minimal to no cleanup needed after!

My 7yo thought this was great! Lots of good learning, good explanations! There were only 2 that didn’t work very well, but my 7yo had a whole month of fun with this calendar! I would recommend for ages 5-10. My 12yo was not impressed.

Purchased as a family advent calendar. Kiddos are older (12 and 15) but still enjoyed playing with the experiments. The boxes give hints as to the contents. Nothing unexpected or noteworthy. Magnets, baking soda and vinegar etc

My 8 year old loved this kit!! Came quick and had great items inside.

All the experiments to me are definitely for k-2nd grade. This is not an upper elementary age range kit. The packaging is fantastic, the designs of the boxes to contain the information is really well thought out.

My son couldn’t wait every day to open the next box. Each little activity excited him and gave us a chance to talk about a new science concept. It was well conceived and the quality is pretty good. A couple of the thinner items (paper, cellophane) could have been more carefully packed to avoid crushing and make them easier to use. But overall the calendar has been a big hit.

So far, this calendar has been an utter disappointment. The age group is for 8-12, my son is 11. The first day he got a magnet. The second day was a very cheaply made prism made from cardstock and plastic film. Third day was a single pipette. Nothing else. It’s so lame, and I feel bad for him. I’m going to order a new advent calendar for him, because this one sucks. His little sister has a science advent calendar from National Geographic and that one is amazing. The first day she got a pair of goggles and an acid/base reaction experiment, the second day was a rock, third day she has a glow in the dark mixture experiment. My son is a sweetheart and has a good sense of humor about how pathetic his calendar is

Super Teil. Kinder haben jeden Tag ein kleines Experiment gemacht. Interessant und nicht zu aufwändig, so dass die Kids die Experimenten morgens noch vor der Schule erledigen können.

Amazing advent calendar which offered us good value for money. My son thoroughly enjoyed opening daily to find a new experiment to do. The most exciting advent he has ever had in his own words. Great product

Muy pero muy bueno. Por ahora, abrimos 6 cajitas, en cada cajita hay un instructivo y un tool para hacer un experimento. Son simples pero se ve impresionante, no es dificil a hacer, y todo es muy bonito.

A mi hijo le encantó los experimentos. Estaría muy bien contar con una edición en español. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!
