This is the first personal care item I have ever bought where I felt I splurged on myself. I read about the Gillette Labs razor and heard how good it was, and then stumbled across the heated razor I could get as well. It was expensive, but I waited and before Black Friday it went on sale with a big price drop. Even so, it was about six times more expensive than the ordinary Gillette razors. I usually shave in the shower using women's shave oil, which you can find online or in a big box store (the women's oils have many different smells and the bottle is significantly bigger than the oil drops I used to use). I wait until I have been in there a bit and my face warms up, and then the shave is smooth and easy. This razor claims to heat your face like they do when you get a barbershop shave, but they say a lot. I started working out and wanted to shave, but not shower at home until after my workout, which meant shaving with a cold face, and trying to warm up the blade in a sink of hot water. I used this new razor this morning. It was set to the hottest setting and holy buckets, the shave was amazingly comfortable. It heats in less than one second and it gets warm. It really does feel like a hot towel barber shave and I thought I got just as good a shave, if not better because it felt luxurious, than the other Gillette I use in the shower. It is amazing. This razor was well worth the money I spent on it. The only down-side is that I probably wont be able to buy the blade refills at my local big box membership store. Alas.

Turn it on let it warm up a bit before using then you will feel like shaving with a hot towel. Kinda neat little expensive for a poor broke loser like me but if you have the means it’s a nice shave

The shaver gives you a great close shave with the blades that they use. The heating bar is nice and makes your face super warm and cozy while shaving. I do think that the product is a little overpriced but it is a good treat for someone that uses a razor to shave their face everyday. The replacement blades are also more expensive that the typical razor so keep that in mind when purchasing.

I purchased this heated razor as a present for a friend who is bald, and he's absolutely thrilled with it. It has revolutionized his shaving experience. Previously, he only used regular razors, explaining that electric shavers didn't provide a close enough cut. But from his first use of this heated razor, he was incredibly impressed. Let's start by saying this is a great razor, when the heating element works. For someone with sensitive skin I was willing to try anything because I still get razor burn in my late 40's. If working I give it 5 Stars. THE PROBLEM is when it stops working and gives you the blinking white ring of death! Normally the light is solid orange and blinks orange when you need to charge. But once it blinks white the heating elements will not work and it will not take a charge. From what I have found from my research, there is not fix or way to repair. This is especially painful because of the price when it stops working. The first one I purchased lasted almost 2 years. I regret that I purchased a second one because it stopped working less than 3 months after I bought it. Important, I only have about once a week, so it is not from over use. ALSO, the replacement blades use to last 3-5 shaves, but they changed them over a year ago to a new packaging and then the blades only started lasting 1-2 times. They are very expensive and that reduction in use is suspicious and unacceptable. Now come to find out that Gillette seems to be no longer making certain models and the price also seems to be going up. I'm not buying a 3rd time and suggest you don't buy the first time.

So I have been shaving for over 40 years and this is by far my favorite razor. Not only is it an amazing feeling to have the warm razor shaving your face and making your face feel like it’s in heaven, but even if you turned that off, it is a well built razor and has some good weight to it. It would also make an awesome gift to a dad who has everything.

pensaba en alta expectativa este producto,ya que es el producto mas avanzado de gillette,pero la durabilidad de el calentado no dura mucho tiempo,principalmente porque yo lo utilizo para afeitarme el cuerpo una vez al mes(a final de mes,el fin de semana, viernes o sabado,o la semana antes de terminar dicho mes,dependiendo el mes)bueno...el caso es que el precio en mi pais es considerado muy alto por el cambio de Dolares a COP,la lubricacion se gasto al primer uso,la temperatura en alto me parece poco satisfactorio aunque si eligieron hasta esa temperatura para cuidar la piel no me quejo,la cuchillas son afiladas puede que mas suaves que la gillette 5 hojas con flexball(ya que este me cortaba, en vambio este modelo no)el diseño es bonito,mi recomendacion: yo personalmente lo dejaria en mi coleccion de afeitadoras gillette de 5 hojas o 7 hojas(dorco),o lo podrias regalar a alguien que si lo necesite,ya que es una afeitadora que sirve y dura lo suficiente para afeitarse la cara,la nariz y el cuello o zonas pequeñas(intimas como: axilas,pene/vagina,ano/el culo,) o los pelos de las manos/pies, aunque repito,no esta hecha para afeitarte todo el cuerpo y si quieres afeitarte apenas las zonas pequeñas la duracion te puede jugar en contra(por eso personalmente digo que esta hecha solo para la cara), recomendaria comprar la gillette labs con exfoliante ya que no te tienes que preocupar por la bateria,el exfoliante ayuda a eliminar las celulas muertas,hay mas ediciones limitadas que podrian gustarte,es reciclable y bueno con el medio ambiente(ya depende de ti botar la afeitadora cuando se acabe el exfoliante) si no quieres gastar tu dinero y estas limitado o te afeitas zonas pequeñas como mencione antes, con una afeitadora de cartucho y el resto del cuerpo con una electrica, entonces comprate la heathed razor, tambien puedes si vives en un clima frio, si como dije estas limitado de dinero,te gusta utilizar una afeitadora de cartucho para todo o quieres cuidar mas o menos el medio ambiente sin gastar en tecnologia que puede no utilices y gastes el doble de tu dinero comprando, y en materiales tecnologicos utiles para otras cosas que puede y terminen en la basura entonces comprate la de exfoliante, lo mejor que tiene gillette,con algo que es bueno con el ambiente,si eres de los que quieren afeitarse la cabeza puede que te sirva la heathed razor aunque te recomendaria utilizar una maquina electrica, bueno... como dije ya depende de ti que quieres y como quieres sacar provecho del producto(aunque, mi recomendacion es que pienses bien y sepas comprar inteligentemente ante todo lo que tus necesidades necesitan) PD: gracias por leer y perdon por hacerlos leer mucho,no se hacer reseñas y trato de explicar lo mejor que puedo para todo tipo de personas que lo lean, espero les haya servido...
