Great little device for iphone photo backups
I'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to icloud and google photos - I much prefer the old, manual method of backing up files, with a cable, on to a hard drive. I was having huge issues with my iphone 16 showing up on my PC, the device simply does not appear in Device manager no way no how. Tried many cables and many computers. Maybe it's a setting in the phone. Regardless; It occurred to me these phones have USB-C and these "flash drives" exist. I read in a few places you can use them to transfer photos, and that was exactly my plan. It has fantastic build quality, works great right out of the box, and helped me complete my mission (of backing up photos) super quickly and painlessly through the Files app. I recommend this method to anyone.

Quick, easy, substantial and recommended!
Turns out this is a great little device that works quickly. It is the modern version of moving data by floppy disc from years ago. It is a delight to use, very substantial physically and has a nice feel in the hand. The thing comes with a nice leather pouch that you could attach to a keyring or pant loop for every day use. I got it to transfer files between several computers quickly without having to mess with cables or moving files up to a local server and back down again. Very practical item that works well.

Fast and large 512G USBC and USB thumb drive
Works great, can attach to phone and use as storage Works great, purchased new phone for wife and she wanted to move all her photos and videos to computer storage and nice fast drive, really like it has type C on one end and type A on others if someone has older computer without type C ports, don't have to carry around adapter. Almost as fast as an internal M.2 SATA SSD ( WD blue 500gig from 2017) and saturated normal mechanical SATA drive. The capacity of 512 gig is impressive for the price, a few of the reasons I purchased this over others ir this showed transfer rate, built in cover for the type c end, capacity , aluminum case and cost. Nice keyring carry case easy to carry around if you want to carry software for troubleshooting systems. Nice solid aluminum case don't have to worry about breaking if sat on or dropping. Recommend this if you want a USBC drive with more space than most cellphones and due to the removal of the SD card in most phones, this is a great option if you are traveling and bringing music and/or movies to be played on phone.

Works great and easy to use
Worked great on my linux setup - no additional drivers or software or anything required fore setup or use - Quite fast via USB A 3.2 plug. Metal exterior and a nice weight. Also worked for transferring and backing up my files from my phone via usb C. Great product!

Works good with the down side of it getting hot to the touch.
It does what the description says. It's easy to use, good storage and good value for your money. With that being said my only complain is that it gets hot to the touch and i didnt like that.

Tiny and Mighty Flash Drive
Tired of those average flash drives... Yes! The ones with limited space and take forever to transfer all of your files? Say no more! With its 128GB to 1TB capacity and USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, which offers read and write rates of up to 460MB and 360MB, respectively, the SSK External Flash Drive completely alters that. It's ideal for on-the-go use because it can be slipped into your pocket or attached to your key chain. This gadget is incredibly versatile, making it ideal for storing and playing documents, videos, and images in one location. Overall, this should provide consistent performance, while some people may discover different to comparable results. Several people have mentioned that this drive becomes hot, but exactly how toasty does it get? In the last two images, I recorded the base temperature 5 minutes after first plugging it in, which was 32°C. Then, I thought it wouldn't have made sense to take recordings of the tempture during the first test, so I ran two full tests with 9 runs per each SEQ (SEQUNTIAL) and RND (RANDOM) read/write of the 16 GB as a drive burner, each test taking about 10 minutes. During the second test, I recorded the temperature at 51°C which was its peak but hovering more around 50°C. However, in just a matter of one to two minutes its already cool due to its Zinc alloy outer coating. If your worried about the dual USB A and C ends not having the same speeds, have no worries! I ran both ends into the back end of my B450-F Gaming Motherboard which has USB A and C 10Gbps ports. The speeds have about 1% deviation in speeds if none at all since these tests aren't perfect, meaning the storage chips are slower than the interface so for complexity reasons in this review I've chosen to keep it simple. For anyone in search of a reliable pocket-sized device that offers both high speeds and large storage capacity, this is definitely the one to consider. Its performance is unmatched, providing fast data transfers and handling demanding tasks with ease. Whether you're backing up large files, running high-capacity tests, or need quick access to your data on the go, this device delivers consistently. There are virtually no alternatives on the market that offer the same combination of speed, durability, and storage in such a compact form. It's a game-changer for those who need portable, high-performance storage.

Small, fast external SSD, easy to use for data or OS
This small external SSD works well for a portable operating system. After downloading Ubuntu 24.04 LTS ISO, i installed it using Rufus. Booting to that drive worked flawlessly, as fast as an internal SSD (~20 seconds total), on the PC on which the OS was written, and it also works well in general on other PC's (though drivers specific to one machine might not always work on another, I've found no major issue, so far). The SSD also functions for high speed data transfer via "sneaker net", and throughput might rival that of a LAN. Overall, I fell it's a good value, and I regret, a bit, accumulating slower flash USB drives.

Absolutely top tier
Immediately noticable how good the quality of this little guy is. It's VERY sturdy, real world transfers are showing about 400-450MBps and moving roughly 100GB took all of four minutes. The drive is denser and more sturdy than most I've had before, no issues whatsoever with compatibility, and honestly the little keychain slip for it was a cute and frankly very useful inclusion. The only negative is the flap for the USB C side can potentially make getting it plugged into a crowded mobo a bit tricky but it's far from a real "negative" and if that's the worst thing I can say about it, then that's still a 5/5 especially considering the value. Highly, highly recommend this for any of you out there that need multiple physical USB standards to move media quickly and effectively. Definitely going to be recommending this to the rest of my team as a necessary addition to their kits.
