Exactly what I was looking for. Wish there was more variety of colors. Same quality you would find if you ordered from a research oriented site.

I bought the 1/2” width tape. I was looking for a durable tape to use to label all the various cables and make sure mine don’t get mixed up with others. Saw that this tape had good reviews due to leaving no residue. I was unsure if “tearable” tape would be resilient enough. But I tried it out and it works great when doubled up like in my photo. I cut the ends to make it neat. It really doesn’t leave residue too! It’s possible my tag can tear if pulled the right way, but it does the job. Easy to write on and taping the sticky sides together is actually super strong! I like the variety of colors. Very happy with the purchase and look forward to finding other ways to use the tape for labeling.

I work in the film/TV/media industry and use paper tapes of various colors regularly. Cloth tapes and even painters tapes can all leave behind a slight sticky residue. If they are used on media like CF cards or SD cards, that residue can come off and gum up a reader - which will be very expensive to repair/clean, ESPECIALLY if the reader is in a camera. These tapes leave NO residue and are also easy to write on with a sharpie, and they are small enough in width to be used on media.

I learned about this tape in my biotechnology classes, and specifically sought it out for home use. I have already refilled my supply.
