I love this comb. I have a young, long-haired cat who hates being restrained or told what to do. As a result, I was concerned about keeping her groomed and mat-free. With some cooperative care training and daily brushing, we have a our grooming routine perfected! I use this comb DAILY. I'm sure the fine teeth would discover any fleas/dirt if my kitty had them, but it is also great for removing every tiny knot and tangle in her thick, fluffy coat. If you don't brush regularly, don't expect this to work on big knots/mats, it will just get stuck. But if your pet is groomed/brushed, this does a great job of removing undercoat, detangling, and preventing knots/mats. Even with daily use, I have seen no wear/tear to the brush and have also used it on dogs and short-haired cats. The size is good and easy to hold. This brush was affordable and I will absolutely buy again if wears out or if I lose it!

Works great for long haired cat and dog.

Quality was nice. It was easy to clean. Dogs were happy. Kid came home from a birthday sleepover with lice. Busted out this comb and went to town on the lice nest. Double duty. Would have made a nice party gift from that family. A bit spendy for what it is.

We unfortunately got hit with a flea problem this summer and were at our witts end. After a ton of trial and error to relieve this pesty issue we ordered this comb to remove the fleas from our dog and cat. This comb came in super quick and was able to remove the fleas with ease for both the dog and cat. The cats hair is very soft, long, and fluffy and the comb preformed perfectly. The dogs hair is very thick, short, and wirey and the comb did great on his coat as well. If you find yourself in the same flea predicament I highly reccomend this comb.
