Will the Ruger LC9 fit in this holster?

It's obviously not designed for it, but my brothers LC9 fits pretty darn good in my shield'a holster.

Do they make this holster for the s&w shield .45? or will the .45 fit in this holster? i have both the 9mm and .45 in the shields.

I don't know. I have the 9mm but I assume the 45 is the same width as the 9mm. I would definitely check that out before buying, look at a couple of other sites and maybe call DeSantis. It's a great holster, very comfortable

Can this be worn farther up your leg, closer to the knee? (With the optional support strap).

I don't use the support strap (not needed for me) but I would think it would help to move it farther up the leg. The problem I see is accessing the gun. You would have to pull your pants legs way high, unless you're a female and are thinking about wearing the rig under a long dress.

Is there one made for a glock 42
