The idea is simple but effective - have a few chambers of ice, coffee goes in between, chills rapidly. Biggest issue is that randomly a giant crack appeared after normal use due to the freezing/thawing of the container. I would have expected something literally made for that purpose to be more durable. Now the outer chamber won't fill with ice, and it leaks. Sadly, can't recommend. While the first few times it worked great and easily cooled down the coffee in record time, just from basic use it failed.

granted, I have only tried it once but I feel that is enough to justify this review. Wont fit under my cuisinart/keurig coffee pot. not even close. thats's OK, we can work around that. when pouring the hot liquid from a coffe cup into the hyper chiller, spilled coffee all over the place. maybe second trial will be better. I do know for sure, it is virtually impossible to drink directly from it. maybe it isnt designed for drinking directly from it. Directions say...."leave in freezer for AT LEAST 12 hours and you will be able to make ONE 12 ounce iced coffee.....if you dont spill it all over.....if you want more than 12 ounces, that's just too bad. in the hyper chiller defense, after I poured the hot coffee in to the hyper chiller I let it sit for about five minutes and when I came back it was "chilled". So far not super impressed but Amazon was cheaper than Walmart for it

This worked great! I made a pot of French press coffee this morning and poured it in right after brewing. I forgot to swirl initially so gave it 90 seconds then poured it into my cup with ice. It was super cold and did not cause the ice to melt at all! This will get a lot of use!

This thing is great! I love iced coffee and tea, we have a great machine at work that brews all kind of hot beverages. This thing cools it down super quick so when you pour it over ice the ice doesn’t melt and dilute the taste of the coffee or tea.

LOVE THIS! This is the second time I purchased the item. Love using it. Make ice coffee with it almost every day. My last one cracked but that was my bad. I put too much water in it and when it froze it cracked. So learn from my lesson. But if you use it as you should then you will love it as much as I do! If you like cold drinks it’s a MUST.
