Detects smoke
Amongst other smoke detectors I have had and checked as in the title this one actually works . Takes a while but in comparison with others I have seen on Amazon ie fire angel for which I’ve seen videos that is actually not safe as no smoke detected this one does the job and is very loud . Not brand and surprised . For 7.99 opposed to a 15.00 branded one that is likely to not keep your house hold safe from any fire . I would recommend this . Definately

Fire alarms
This is so unfortunate but I had the alarms removed as theses are know longer used by health and safety compliance and I can't get certification for my insurance if I have this model of fire alarms.Please could you send me a returns QR code so I can return the items.Many thanks Grace

Works great but batteries don’t fit.
Detectors work great however the batteries are some obscure make which are probably the third most popular in all of Southern China, and which are about 1mm too wide so the main body of the charger didn’t fit the housing. I put some proper Duracell batteries in and everything fitted together perfectly.
