"Let's put a smile on that face..."
I own various headphones, but i don't consider myself an audiophile. I bought these because i had seen reviews of them via youtube and wanted to give them a go. Out of the box: they have a crisp clear sound. The definitely lean more towards bright sounds and are more treble than bass; however, they do produce a little bass if the bass is deep enough to push past the treble. Just keep in mind that if you enjoy bass, than these aren't for you. I WILL SAY THIS: (for gaming on console) if you want more umph in sound than get a DAC amp. These definitely benefited from the boost a typical usb DAC amp provides. If listening to just music these, in my opinion, were spot on. I'm satisfied with my purchase and hope this review helped a little to draw a picture of the kind of headphones the Moondrop Joker is. I enjoy these.

Hype train strikes again
Ugh.... IDK where to start... I like these and I don't want to return and don't see conclusionCons:1. Feel cheap for price comparison shp 9500 just feels sturdier and more solid IMHO2. Plastiky rattle adds to cheapness3. Little hot extended wear not a big deal4. To note: build quality is solid just materials feel too light/cheap/plasticPros1. The sound: have to say it's nice decent soundstage clear has a nice I can hear the clarity kind of vibe2. Sounds is slightly distant not distorted but not so up close it's muffled3. Earpads nice fit and comfortable4. Glasses friendly5. Top of head no pressure (subjective)6. Packing wow very nicely doneConclusion:I feel these are good not amazing and def not the hype they are getting. These are $50 cans better value Austrian Audio hi-x15. Just solid but not wow. Sound is a solid 7-8 out of 10 so it wins there.

Shocked!
I really love them! I know they don’t measure perfectly, but they do remind me of an imperfect HD600 closed back. Detailed, bass-light, and has a nice tonal balance! I’ve tried almost all closed backs up to $600 (SJY starry night, K371, K361, Rode NTH-100, Drop x DCA Aeon Closed, DT770 Pro, Sivga Oriole, Hifiman HE-R9 x JM Mod V8, Focal Elegia, Final UX3000, Bose QC45, Momentum 3 Wireless, and others I’m forgetting). Only gripe is vocals can sound thin on certain recordings, but for $70, I’m sold!

Way better sound than I was expecting, needs EQ
I'm very pleasantly surprised with these closed backs! The build quality of them, though not exactly flimsy, are somewhat clacky, but they don't rattle or creak when wearing them, and this build quality helps the headphones be very light. I strongly recommend that you EQ them, since the stock tuning is really shouty, thin, and rather sibilant. However, after tuning, they have a very large soundstage and great imaging for closed backs, to the point where they sound almost like open backs.
