I often feel tension in my upper back between my shoulder blades. I had a soft what I thought was shiatsu in a full-size body pad that was difficult to pull out every time I just needed my upper back area. I ordered shiatsu massager, which felt like someone was beating me up. This is exactly the strength massage I needed, vibration not a beating. I received it today and immediately took it out and turned it on without reading directions so I’ll have to get more familiar with the vibrating functions because there’s more than one. I like the steady vibration instead of pulsing myself. It did turn off automatically after maybe 10 minutes, but no big deal because the control was easily within reach. The cord was long enough to be plugged in and easily reached my recliner with extra cord. The entire thing is weighted, but I did not have difficulty keeping it in position on my back leaning against the chair. I can see this would be helpful if you were using it laying down on your back or on your stomach or wherever it seems that it’ll stay put well. It heated up very quickly at a very comfortable temperature. There are two main vibrating elements that you can use vertically or horizontally depending on your need which I love because I have a small back and it works perfectly for me. The sound of the vibration is barely noticeable while it’s on and I’m leaning against it. One side is a very soft plush fabric, and the other side is just soft. Again, I just received this and on my second round now and I absolutely love this, and I recommend it as it has given me great pain relief, conveniently. I do highly recommend this product and I hope it lasts a long time and if it doesn’t, I will re-purchase it again. I love it that much.

Perfect size for my leg and spot placement massage. The heat is more than generous and stays on for 2 hours. Soft comfortable weighted fabric. So many setting in the massage vibrate function. My favorite is #8. Strong steady vibrate. Definitely helps with pain relief and the coverage size is perfect. Functional for small area pain relief. The noise level on vibrate is low and soothing. The only down side is the vibrate function only stays on 15 min and then has to be turned back on. I wish it stayed on as long as the heat function. All in all I’m happy with this pad.

I have sciatica and when I use this, it's pain relief without the pills. I use mine freely and it's still ticking. I even bought a backup . Never want to be without it.

** update ** After using a few more times the massage has stopped working. Wish I’d kept the box so I could return it. I really was excited to get this because I have knee pain daily and this looked like it might give me some relief. I’ve used this 4 times and while it does heat up great, the massage aspect is lacking. I could use a normal heating pad if I just wanted heat, but I need/want the massage element. I would save your money

This heating massager is just too flimsy. I need it for my back but it doesn't have adequate inner support - just falls over. I need to use it while sitting and it just is not effective. It's also very small. I would not recommend this item,
