Surprisingly good, especially for the price! (paid £10.39 in Dec 2024)Very sharp, but at the same time the safety mechanism works well to protect the user.I've used them to cut new brake and gear wires to size to fit my bike and was very happy with the results and how easy it was to use.

I used this wire rope cutter to cut through 2mm stainless steel wire rope, which it easily acheived. A clean cut with minimal effort. Nice to use and reasonably priced.

They cut well, but the holding catch is made of a soft metal and doesn’t work after a few uses.I’ve had to add an elastic band to hold together when storing.
