Lasts 2 hours after full charge
I used this for over a month as I figure it needed the perfect sun. No matter how much sun it got (full day), I would get maybe 3 hours of bug zapping, but most of the time it went off before 2 hours. So, needless to say this doesn't work as expected.

Bigger Than I Expected, Good Solution for Bug Control
This is a pretty nice bug zapper, it's much larger than I expected and will handle a good volume of bugs. It has a very large solar array on top so that you can hang it in sunlight and charge it. You can also plug it into a USB port or charger (not included) to charge it faster and ensure it's fully charged. A red LED lights up while charging and turns green when fully charged. In addition to the bug zapping feature, it has an LED lamp with 2 brightness modes and an "SOS" mode. Just press the light switch to cycle between modes. The zapping button is separate and you can run them both at the same time, though the zapper will be more successful at attracting bugs if only the zapper is on. It comes with a charging cable and a small brush to help clean dead bugs off the zapping wires. However, the zapper should be turned off before using the brush and you should never touch the wires while it's on. At the base of the bug zapper there is a tray screwed into the unit. To clean out the dead bugs collected, just unscrew it and dump it upside down. It's pretty weather-proof, with rubber membranes over the switches and a rubber door to seal up the charging port. It takes just a couple hours to charge using a USB power source. I don't know how long it takes to charge using solar. The bug zapper will run for 8 hours. The light will run from 9-12 hours depending on brightness. If you run both at the same time, obviously these run times will be greatly diminished. It definitely works to zap bugs. We're just starting to get some warm weather and it's already caught a few bugs that managed to find a way into my travel trailer . I really like the size of this unit and hoping it does a terrific job this summer when I'm camping. The LED lamp function is a bonus, allowing this to double as a lantern if I need to go out of the camper to investigate something outside. I'm very happy with this order.

Doesn’t work
The solar works outside. But doesn’t work inside. Meaning it doesn’t hold a solar charge. It’s not worth it. I used it I the house the led light works. Daytime outside the light isn’t on at all

I LOVE DEAD MOSQUITOES
Can you tell I'm passionate about this? I'm allergic to the little suckers, so I'll do anything I can to keep them out of my space. Mosquito killers that don't need to be plugged in (i.e. have a rechargeable battery) are better than those that need to physically be connected by a power cord all the time, but even better than a USB charger is ... a SOLAR charger! This device is great! Stick it outside in the sun during the day, and turn it on to do it's killing at night (it can also be charged by USB if you desire). The zapper is good-sized and emits a blue glow that attracts the mosquitoes to their death. I love to hear the ZAP when they die. The zapper also has a light function but I will never use it for that - I just want it for the killing. It also has a convenient hook on top so you can hang it if desired. 5-stars for dead bugs.

Not quite sure this bug zapper is effective
In all the times I've had this zapper on, it's only killed one bug. Hmmm, I know I have lots of flying bugs outside, but maybe they're smarter than the zapper.

Love the battery
I really love that you can either use solar or plug it in to charge the battery. The battery lasts a long time, a few times it's made it through the entire night. The battery is great, because if you got a stray bug inside the house, you can bring this into any room without having to carry a plug. The UV light is pretty bright and will light up an entire living area when it's on. Unless you have the device plugged it, it will turn itself off when it's in the sun. So if you want to use it during the day, it will need to be in a dark place or plugged in. I'm not 100% sure how well it works. I can see there are some dead bugs stuck to the zapper wires on the UV light area. But the bottom tray hasn't really filled up with dead bugs. So maybe it's working, but I just don't have a ton of bugs? We haven't heard any zapping at all. I live in FL and it's nearly summer, so the mosquitoes should be in full bloom. I'll give it some more time and update with findings.
