Fairly straight forward to install (requires two people though) and super convenient and such a space saver. Much longer clothes line than any other laundry rack I had in the future. Comes across as sturdy. One important thing to know: The clutch can only be either on the left-hand side or on the right-hand side - send a message to the seller before you buy in case that matters to you. I wasn't aware and got the one for the left-hand side (which is inconvenient for me). But following a quick email exchange with the seller I got for free the one for the right-hand side. So, I would actually give a 6th star for this.

One word: Fantastic! We have a narrow utility room. Just over 3ft wide from wall to cabinets on other side. Always used a free floor standing drying rack but could never get from one end of the room to the other when it was up. Functional, but inconvenient. We've been looking for a better solution for a long time and then we found this. I assembled it and fixed it in place one Saturday morning (feasible to do on your own but would be easier with someone else to assist) and we haven't looked back. My wife loves! (so do I). Clothes are pegged in place and raised out of the way. The room is still usable whilst all the washing is hanging out. One thing to note is that the pulley system is designed to be fitted on the left. I thought I could switch it to the right hand side but appears you have to specify at time of order. Not the end of the world though. Overall a superb product. Some very happy washing days ahead!

Arrived in a huge box, so I assumed it was ready assembled. This is not the case. Putting it together is a bit fiddly and you need to carefully follow the instructions and diagrams, particularly when threading the pull cord. All parts are very good quality and fit together very well. Quality appearance when assembled and functions very well indeed. Very pleased.

Great space-saving idea and a good sized rack. For smooth movement the rails need to be very well aligned and this can be very tedious. Depending on airflow where you put this you may end up using every other rail as not much room between them. The rack would clearly bend if a rail was pulled hard or lent on, but plenty strong enough for hanging washing.

The mechanism is on the left side which is not suitable for us and we were going to return it. A very helpful lady named Arianna from foxydri has arranged for the left hand one to be collected and a right hand one to be sent. Their customer service has been excellent The problem is we could not find how to specify when ordering on Amazon the side on which you need the pulley mechanism to be on ?

This is brilliant - I have it in a loft bathroom and it holds a washing machine full of clothes which dry very quickly. I used to have an old fashioned iron/wood pully dryer but this has a lot more space for drying, is no effort at all to raise and lower and this design keeps it neatly out of the way and also avoids any worry that the ceiling will cave in from the weight. Bought for our new house where there is as yet no room for a tumble dryer but don't think I'll need one now! A little fiddly to put up but we managed it in an hour or so.

Thought this was quite expensive at first but it is actually a superbly well designed and manufactured bit of kit. A great alternative to the ceiling mounted dryers when (like me) your ceiling joists run the wrong way and are almost impossible to locate. It runs up and down very smoothly with minimal effort and is a great size. The 1.2m wide version that I have is plenty big enough for most families I would think. Took me less than an hour to put up and the instructions are clear. It comes as standard with the pulley on the left hand side so if that doesn't suit then maybe contact the supplier direct to specify a right hand version, since you can't swap it over. Highly recommended.

I love the concept of this drying rack—it’s an ingenious way to make the most of limited space. Seven months in, it still works flawlessly. The material quality is excellent, and unlike most drying racks, it’s a pleasure to look at. The product description states: “100% Designed and Realized in Italy”, and I appreciate this distinction. Many products claim to be “Italian style” or “designed in Italy” but are manufactured elsewhere—this one truly lives up to its heritage. Functionally, it’s a dream. I can adjust it to any height with ease, and once lifted, it stays securely out of the way, freeing up space below. Installation was straightforward with the manual, and I also found a helpful tutorial video. I highly recommend this drying rack and will be purchasing more!

Nosotros compramos el de 150 pero nos quedaba grande en el tendedero y tuvimos que cambiarlo por el de 120 sin que hubiera ningún problema por parte del fabricante (un diez para ellos). Es una solución muy buena para evitar tener que colgar el tendedero en techos de escayola, que suelen ser un poco más delicados. Es cierto que colocarlo requiere de algún conocimiento básico de bricolaje, pero si se siguen las instrucciones con cuidado, no es difícil en absoluto. De hecho, son muy claras y fáciles de seguir. El sistema de polea para subir y bajar el tendal es perfecto y no cuesta nada subirlo incluso lleno de ropa. Por cierto que, según el fabricante, soporta hasta diez kilos de peso pero yo diría que incluso podría soportar alguno más (tampoco es cosa de pasarse), de tan robusto que es. Eso sí, cuidado con las varillas porque, al ser metálicas, pero huecas, si no se distribuye bien el peso de la ropa podrían acabar algo dobladas. En todo caso, ello no empaña la buena calidad general del producto y la facilidad de instalación
