This product is essential for the upkeep of our lawn during warm weather. I'm utilizing one spool in my weed trimmer at this moment. So far, the product seems to be working fine.

Don't come with instructions
Before I figured out how to get it in my trimmer, the first one unraveled completely and I had to throw it out. Also, Lowes sold two different Kobalt 40volt trimmers. These fit one of them. The other has an entirely different spool. I would suggest making sure you have the right model for these spools or better yet disassembling your trimmer so you can visually compare your spool with the picture. Once I figured out how to keep the line from unraveling before getting it in my trimmer, it worked fine.

Falls apart/brittle
I'm not trying to pulverize rocks with this thing, but I do expect to hit the occasional paving stone or edging stone when using the weed eater. One hit and the string was completely gone. Even hitting a thick thistle type weed, the string broke. Absolute garbage. Do not waste your money on this.
