Product when it arrives is very heavy roughly 118lbs. Once opened all items are stored zipped up in the back of the headboard. Necessary tools were included not all screws needed to be used during assembly. One person is sufficient to assemble the bed frame. I did not time myself, but I'd say if you're focused it should only take an hour or less. The manual was pretty clear cut. The images were accurate, and it all made sense. If I had to nitpick the wings according to the manual are the last to be attached. This means the whole frame has to be moved and the headboard unzipped in the back to gain access to the holes the screws go through to connect the wings. I would have preferred to do that earlier when it was easier before full assembly, especially if space is a constraint. Other than that I am highly impressed with the quality, sturdiness (no squeaking or movement whatsoever), material, packaging, and overall look of the bed frame. My latex mattress feels very well supported. I've purchased from this brand before, and they seem to consistently produce great high quality products. I would like to also note that there's about a 7 and a half inch clearance under the bed frame for storage. I chose this one out of a list of options I researched on Amazon, and honestly all the others seem to pale in comparison now. It isn't cheap, and I see why, because it's worth it. And in all honesty it's better than some of the more expensive options you'll find at furniture stores and the like. Don't hesitate to buy. I did, bought it anyway, and do not regret it one bit. I am perfectly satisfied!

I rarely have the time to write reviews, but I READ them all the time. I purchased this frame because of the price, coupled with the good reviews. And now I want to add my own because this company deserves it! Bottom line: I can't imagine a better bed for the price—or a smoother assembly. The parts are extremely well made, from the stitching to the metal parts. Not thin, flimsy, or sloppy. And more importantly they fit together perfectly! No misaligned holes. No "almost fits" spots. Just perfectly aligned. The directions were very clear diagrams (okay, one step looked to me like a giant tangle of lines and arrows and I had no idea what it was showing me, but it wasn't too hard to just look at the parts and figure it out). Plus, they give you extra screws (who does that?) and one of those ratchet Allen wrench things (again, who does that?) so you're not spending all day tightening all the numerous screws. Now, don't be like me and FORGET about the ratchet wrench until you are halfway through and cursing how long it's taking to tighten them all. Aside from the simple, elegant style, I purchased this bed frame because I have a small bedroom and the size was perfect. So many other platform frames I looked at were much larger. When you have a small bedroom, even a few inches makes a big difference. Keep in mind that the mattress sits on TOP of the slats, not nestled inside a lip of the frame. It's the look I wanted and the dimensions I wanted. But be sure it's for you. I especially love that there is velcro to hold the slats in place. I'll leave it to others to talk about it's comfort. I haven't slept on it yet. But if I find there are any issues/complaints, I'll come back and add it here. All I can say is that it looks and feels amazing at this point. The only minor complaints I have are about the feet and the packaging. The feet are black plastic, which is, to me, cheapens the elegance of the bed. You don't notice them that much, so it's not a big deal overall, but I'd pay extra to be able to order legs in solid wood. Zinus, are you listening? Also, the packaging. It's excellent that all the pieces come packed inside the headboard, but I'd love to see way less plastic and styrofoam being used. We can do better for the planet these days.

Purchased king size. It was extremely easy to put together - it only took an hour to do by myself. Once everything was tightened and ready for the mattress, the bed was super sturdy, without the slightest wiggle. Pros - Price! - Good quality for what you pay. - Ratcheting Allen Key!!! Omg, I would have purchased this just for the ratcheting Allen key, you changed my life. If you’re not feeling it, there’s also a regular Allen key. - The fabric is a nice sturdy material - I expect it to last a decent amount of time. - Nicely packed and organized. Cons: - The box was very heavy, as to be expected, but it would be very helpful to put some kind of handle cutouts for maneuvering into the house. My husband and oldest son had a hard time moving it in the house, but I did fine on my own without them when I unboxed and set it up. I think it was the awkward size that made it hard for them. The only thing I want to add, but was totally my fault - I almost missed the washers for the last four bolts to attach the side wings (?). I literally told my husband I needed to buy some, then saw them in the blister pack during cleanup. It was easy to fix, but don’t overlook them like I did. Overall, this was easy to build, is super sturdy, and looks great at an amazing price. Don’t miss this item!

I'm so glad we purchased this king bedframe. I was so hesitant to buy it and kept looking around but couldnt find another for such a good price. I definitely thought the quality will be a compromise, but it wasn't! To my surprise it is a great quality product, very sturdy and well constructed. The colour was exactly what I wanted and upholstery is done really well! Really good quality for the price. And it was super easy to assemble. No damage or missing items. Love it!!

This is my second Zinus bed. Cannot go wrong for the price. They are pretty solid and easy to assemble. Bought our first in 2019 for master bedroom and is still in perfect condition. This one is for daughter’s room. Her mattress is 16” so not as much of the headboard shows with the multiple pillows but is still beautiful in the room. Would totally recommend this bed.

Very heavy in the box but once opened it was easy to carry upstairs in pieces and very easy to assemble. It feels sturdy and is a great simple style.

This bed is awesome! I'm a weirdo who actually likes making Ikea furniture but this bed was by far the easiest thing I have ever assembled. The ratchet it comes with is a game changer and the design of the bed is ingenious. I was able to make the king sized bed myself in about an hour and a half. I did have to take the pieces out of the headboard to take them upstairs because as mentioned it is quite heavy. Once the mattress was on the bed is so sturdy. No squeaking or movement at all. I love this bed and at this price point you cant go wrong.

I just set up my King size bed less than 1 week ago, so I can't speak to the sturdyness of it, but I can say that is was super easy to set up and I love the way it looks! I am, however, extremely disappointed by Amazon's customer service on this order. The price on this bed dropped dramatically shortly after I ordered it and I contacted Amazon to see if I could get a price adjustment. Apparently there is nothing they can do. I have had far better customer service through third party sellers on Amazon. ☹️
