Excellent small set of 4mm hex bits, perfect to go in an EDC kit.

Excellent but couldn’t buy what they go on

Bought this for the Roxon flex shears, which it fits, if you have the Philips modular bit. It's essentially a 4mm square drive to 4mm hex with relatively thin walls, though with 4mm bits for light duty occasional work I doubt that's too much of a problem. A hard flick can send the bit holder with the bit off the tool. But it will hold the bit to the bit holder, the magnet isn't strong enough to also hold a screw. The bit strip is rubber not plastic and quite flexible. Doesn't seem like it will easily lose bits but, its a fairly loose hold. The important thing to me was the bit holder, the strip is a nice bonus. I'd have been quite happy paying 2/3 the price for just them and assembling my own bits. I expect the bits will need to be replaced as they don't seem particularly high quality but they're there and I'll replace them as I need to. Whether the mix of bits is right will depend on the person, I'd have preferred another wider flat head instead of a 3mm hex. The 4mm hex makes more sense, it might allow you to use common 4mm hex accessories. There's a bit of take up in the fit between the bit holder and the square Philips shaft but it seems to work fine, the fit between the bits and the adapter is better, the tolerances on the bits in general can vary by little so it does need to have some slop too work with most bits. The bits I have for a cheap rolson precision screwdriver seem a better fit than the supplied ones. Aside from that I just wish it wasn't all black I'm going to scribble over it with an acrylic pen to make it stand out more for when I inevitably drop it.
