***Update! This bulb camera still working very well and I bought a second one. Just found out today while looking in the CloudPlus App that this Bulb security camera can NOW connect to your Alexa Echo Show devices. However it does not notify you through Echo if motion is detected-works just like the Panasonic Home Hawk Window Camera which costs much more. Ring Cams notify you through Echo, but not this Camera. Also with this recent update CloudPlus App looks like you can also set it up to work with Google too. BEFORE you set up with Echo or Google , you can now rename your bulb camera from the one that is given through the app. to something easier to use. *** I really love this camera!Installed this Bulb camera under my patio cover as I would like to keep it out of the rain and snow. It installed quickly and easily. It works fantastic so far the week I have had this. The only bit of complaint I have is with the app that it uses called CloudPlus. It is a good app however two things I think could really improve it for the app and this camera. When you go to see the camera LIVE then go to HISTORY then go to ALERT (if you have motion detection on, it records the ALERTS and notifies you) see photo of the ALERTs there. The TOP of this is the OLDEST Alert so if you want to see the recent ALERT you just received you have to scroll all the way down to see it. It would be so much easier if the most recent ALERT were at the top right there for you instead of having to scroll and scroll down to get to the latest. Hopefully the maker of CloudPlus or the maker of this excellent bulb camera can review this. ALSO one more tiny thing. I had such a hard time with the ALARM TRIGGER area. In the photo it is from my Samsung Tablet with Android 14 on it. For the life of me I could not change or move around the trigger alarm area. So I used my Samsung phone with Android 14 and I was able to fix and modify the Alarm trigger area there -still a bit difficult but got it where I needed. Anyway, I have NO complaints about this camera, and I do really like the CloudPlus app, but hope they make the small much needed improvements for the app. What would make this camera the ultimate is if it could work with Alexa. I would pay twice or more what I paid for this camera if it did (I have Alexa devices in every room but I don't always have my tablet or phone on me to view my security cams). I like this camera so much that I ordered another one for back up just in case.

The media could not be loaded. So I did a lot of research, looking at and reading about different types of at home security camera systems and I came across theToaioho bulb security camera .The price was really good under 16 $ and used under 9$ . The quality of the used was excellent..The video was very good and a high resolution. It came With a free downloadable app that did not require a purchasing outside of the original device to use. But also had in App purchases available.It did not need an echo. Dot or Google nest or one of those other platforms to utilize. Also was compatible and works well with Alexa.Some of the functions that I really liked was the motion detection the alarm and also the built-in speakers which allowed hearing audio in the room and also a microphone function that allows you to converse with whatever was going on in the room. Also liked the Wi-Fi compatibility, even though it didn’t doesn’t work with the 5G higher one it has a lower, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi function. On top of that it has a slot so you can put a microSD card in there which I thought it was really cool because never know when your powers gonna go out or Wi-Fi is gonna go down in that sense so you have an alternative to back up for Video footage. Plus, it is compatible with both iPhone and android and with the iPhone. It does have an iCloud storage capacity that you can do with it which I thought was really cool.So if you’re looking to buy a inexpensive high-quality well-built product, I recommend this one. And if you’re like me and don’t want to spend even that much, Amazon did a great job with providing almost half price used product.

Awesomeness

I received this camera December 6, 2023 today is March 2nd 2024. The camera died last night, so it lasted for 3 months. During that 3 months the camera worked great, I have no complaints. However the red light started flashing on the camera and I had no video last night. I power cycled the camera several times. So I took the camera down to to do a factory reset in a temporary location. The app advised to do this. I have tried and tried to factory reset the device with no luck. After the factory reset the red indicator light is suppose flash. However the indicator light is steady. Note: the camera acts like it resets, because it goes through some automatic things. I have tried to install the camera fresh, but when I scan the QR code on the light, it states the camera is not available for this system and you have to install it manually? It was available when I initially set it up. Through the app, there is a way to contact support, however when you try, a message please wait comes up and doesn't go away . It never goes thru. I work in I.T. for a living so I feel pretty confident I am not missing anything. Yes the camera and my phone are on the same network, yes my network is working. I have removed and reinstalled the app. Unfortunately I am out of time to return. My advice is to avoid this camera, because it seems like it won't last and then you are stuck.

Seems like a good product, was easy to setup, but I didn’t play close enough attention for what router you needed function properly and it was a little late to return it, will see if anyone I know has the router system suited for this and gift it to them
