Pioneer TS-WX130EA Space Saving Active Subwoofer with Built-In Class-D Amplifier

Installed under the passenger seat of my RAV4. This is a great little unit and providing you understand its purpose you won't be disappointed. In other words if you are looking for something that will create a mobile earthquake this isn't for you. However as something that will give your system a very pleasant upgrade it is perfect. It will help if you have already upgraded your existing speakers from the original ones to something a little better. Also having a decent head unit with a separate sub-woofer output and the ability to adjust the sub-woofer independently will make a big difference. The bass can be turned up quite loud but that is not the point of this. Where it sounds best is at medium level volume where the bass does not overpower your existing speakers. I listen to a variety of music from Soul, funk, jazz and reggae through to dance. All of these will be very pleasantly transformed to a much rounder and fuller sound where the bass is presented in a noticeable but not overwhelming way. Unless you are very confident I would go for professional installation where the fitter will be able to correctly set the gain level for you.

Better than expected, we squeezed this under the front passenger seat of an old Mercedes. And it has really added to the audio quality, in a car where we didn't want to cut holes anywhere visible.

This is really good. Sound is good and it was easy to install. Would prefer if there were 4 mounting points, as there are only 2 diagonal mounts which isn’t ideal. Small criticism though.

Superb, best sound I've heard in any car audio system. Lots of options to customise your preferred settings.

Amazing bit of kit

Bought this as a cheap and (relatively) easy way to get significantly better sound quality on my mx5. Shoved it behind the driver seat, spent 6 hours wiring it into the car’s amplifier and battery, and I now have a built-in back massager if I ever need it. Absolutely amazing sound quality and is loud enough the shake other cars at a traffic light if desired. All jokes aside I’d highly recommend it as it’s transformed my mx5s sound setup and makes driving way more enjoyable.

Great piece, together with my JBL speakers and Pioneer player my Caddy is aliiiive. I recomend it to anyone who likes a good and powerful enough sound for your car.

Recently installed this subwoofer in my 2018 Mazda CX-9 has yielded impressive results. The sound quality produced by this compact unit is exceptional. To streamline the installation process, I utilized a single-speaker connection for audio input and the infotainment system's power supply. Despite this simplified configuration, the bass output remains remarkable. I highly recommend this.

Si buscas algo que retumbe y se escuche a metros de distancia , este producto no es para ti . Este producto realmente eleva la calidad de tu sonido , realmente refuerza súper bien los bajos y el woofer le da un plus a tus bocinas , sobre todo es compacto y no ocupa espacio

Passar perfekt

Pour le prix, on pourrait difficilement faire mieux. Fréquence de coupure basse annoncée à 40 Hz, je n'ai pas vérifié expérimentalement mais ça va, ça reproduit les basses. Comme tous caissons, la puissance de 160W c'est du maximum, et le constructeur indique 35% de THD à cette puissance ! A 50W, il indique déjà 1% de THD. Mais pas d'inquiétude : 50W en continu, c'est CLAIREMENT plus qu'assez pour se rendre sourd en quelques heures. La puissance ne devrait pas être un critère pour un caisson à mettre sous les sièges, car elle est souvent suffisante. Certains caissons plus chers proposent un allumage automatique (auto turn-on) à la détection de signal audio entrant. Ici, pas le choix, un câble "remote turn-on" à connecter à son autoradio ou à n'importe quelle source 12V commutée (active lorsque contact mis). L'avantage ? Il ne consomme pratiquement rien quand le contact est enlevé (contrairement aux caissons avec auto turn-on qui consomment certes peu, mais pas rien, pour détecter la présence de signal audio pour s'allumer). Aussi, pas de télécommande déportée pour régler le gain, le potentiomètre est directement sur le caisson. Pour info (d'après mes mesures), le caisson consomme 150 mA @ 14.5V lorsque le remote turn-on est mis à 14.5V (conso en idle, pas de son), et pratiquement 0 mA sinon (valeur à vérifier avec un vrai ampèremètre calibré).
