Nutritionally this protein bar is fantastic. The protein to calorie ratio is great. Macros are solid. I'm not a huge fan of sugar alcohols but to keep a good flavor, texture, and calorie count they're kind of necessary.However, my wife is a pastry chef and she's willing to eat these to satisfy cravings for sweets, and that's probably the best endorsement I could possibly give. They're delicious.

Love these Protein bars!!! They don't taste like most other protein bars i have had. there is no chalky taste, and it is larger and more filling than some of the other brands. I enjoy the crispy crunch on the outside of the bar and the softness of the center. At 200 calories per bar, it is on the lower end of the of the bars I have tried. I will continue to purchase these as the whole family loves them. I would highly recommend.

This is a great tasting protein bar with good macros. Many other protein bars on the market taste horrible and/or have awful macros. As this is a protein bar it is a little on the expensive side, but I usually have one a day so it averages to about $3.5 per bar ($28 per box).Regarding the taste, this bar has the typical Barebell's chocolate coating with puffs which taste great (no protein-bar taste). The bar also has some nice softer chocolate in between the bar itself and the outer coating which is nice both in taste and texture. The bar does have a slight protein taste but it is not bad at all, especially considering that the rest of the bar (coating, puffs, chocolate) taste like they would in a candy bar.Overall this is one of if not the best tasting protein bars on the market and I would highly recommend this for people looking for a good protein bar.

Very tasty

First off, half the box was completely "melted" and stuck to the wrapper which made it literally impossible to eat. I live in very cold climate so I'm not sure why they were melted. I've had other brands melt, causing them to change shape but the difference here was the texture of the bar melted into the wrapper, fusing the two together. It could not be separated.Now, for the worst part: the chemical smell and taste. I usually purchase these bars from Trader Joe's. The instant smell was alarming- nothing like the original bars from TJ's. This smell was as intense as straight vinegar or bleach, the smell that makes your eyes water. As someone who has consumed just about every single protein bar/cookie/powder on the planet, this chemical taste was different. It wasn't the chemical protein/chalk taste. It tasted like, "I'm scared to finish this".As a former competitor, I'm used to eating things that taste "bad" to me at times. This is different. Honestly, I'm writing this review as sort of a warning. Do not buy food, drinks or skincare on amazon. You never know what product you are getting.

Very tasty but pricey

My family of gym rats loves these. They have an almost fudge like texture but chewier. I like to cut mine in small pieces rather than bite into it. A sprinkle of rice crispies on top, give them a little crunch. Not too sweet actually satisfies a sweet tooth. DOESN’T taste like a vitamin! They aren’t vegetarian or vegan. Lately my orders have been cancelled or delayed so they must be experiencing supply issues.

Yummy!! You'd never know these are packed with protein & low on sugar. Excellent! A bit expensive
