Clean, Simple, and Great Quality
Simple, clean, and exactly what I wanted. It mixes well in smoothies, has no added flavors or sweeteners, and is easy on my stomach. The taste is plain as expected, but that's perfect if you want to add it to your own recipes. Great value for a high-quality pea protein.

Makes a great sauce for vegetables.
I use protein powder in the following recipe to flavor vegetables. Tasty Low Sodium & Low Carbohydrate Recipe for Weight Reduction & Weight Maintenance This recipe uses many spices used in Persian cuisine as there is only so much you can do with low carbohydrate vegetables as far as flavor is concerned. Ancient Persia plays a tremendously fascinating role in providing thousands of years of flavoring expertise to make low carbohydrate vegetables more palatable and appealing. First, add two cups of water to a microwaveable ceramic bowl with a glass lid. Add in 4 heaping tablespoons of kosher organic fenugreek seeds along with 2 tablespoons each of kosher, organic powdered ginger as well as turmeric. Add in 1 tablespoon kosher olive oil as well as 1/2 tablespoon of kosher ground pepper. Place lid on microwaveable bowl & microwave for 4 minutes. Let sit for 1 hour until fenugreek seeds soften. Once cooled, transfer fenugreek seed flavoring sauce to a Tupperware container & refrigerate. Wash 3 pounds of organic broccoli thoroughly and inspect for bugs. Place 3 pounds of minced broccoli in an air fryer basket, spray lightly with kosher olive oil and air fry at 350 degrees for 4 1/2 minutes to 5 minutes. Allow to air cool. Once air cooled, place cooked broccoli in a plastic Tupperware container and refrigerate. If you don’t own an air fryer, simply place 3 pounds of broccoli in a large pot & add two cups water to pot. Place lid on pot and steam while stirring until broccoli is lightly cooked. Use a colander to drain water from broccoli. Wash 2 pounds of mushrooms & thoroughly inspect for bugs. Mince. Place 2 pounds of minced mushroom in an air fryer basket, spray lightly with kosher olive oil and air fry at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Allow to air cool. Once air cooled, place mushrooms in a plastic Tupperware container and refrigerate. If you don’t own an air fryer, simply place mushrooms in large frying pan and sautee with olive oil until water has evaporated to a thick sauce. Next, peel 3 extra large rinsed & chilled avocados. Finely mince avocado flesh and place in a large Tupperware container & store in refrigerator. The last step is to use a large pot to mix all the ingredients. In a large pot, add the chilled avocados, chilled cooked broccoli, cooked, chilled mushrooms as well as turmeric & ginger seasoned fenugreek seed sauce. To the pot add 6 tablespoons ground flaxseed and 6 tablespoons of organic, kosher pea protein powder. Finally to the pot add 1/4 cup organic apple cider vinegar & 1/4 cup organic lemon juice. Stir the pot contents with a large spoon and transfer contents of pot to 4 or 5 Tupperware containers for refrigeration until ready to serve a meal. Now, for a nutritious low carbohydrate breakfast, fill a ceramic microwaveable cereal bowl with pre-prepared & flavored low carbohydrate vegetables and microwave for 4 minutes. Transfer the hot vegetable dish to a much larger bowl and stir in 3 tablespoons of kosher, organic psyllium whole husk powder for added fiber to help provide a feeling of satiety throughout the day. Once the whole husk psyllium powder is mixed into the vegetable dish, the vegetable breakfast bowl needs to be consumed within 8 to 10 minutes as psyllium very quickly absorbs water and becomes almost totally unpalatable if left to sit idle and is not eaten almost immediately after mixing in psyllium. Enjoy vegetable bowl with organic, kosher salsa and organic, kosher sauerkraut to taste. This vegetable bowl should be eaten with perhaps 1 ounce of kosher lamb or tofu for added protein as excessive eggs are known to cause diabetes & overall mortality risk. This breakfast meal works best for weight management if it is the last & only meal of the day. The added whole husk psyllium powder acts as an appetite suppressant, & the low carbohydrate vegetable meal prevents an upsurge of insulin that inhibits lipolysis. Furthermore, restricting meals to one per day further inhibits insulin which prevents lipolysis. Lipolysis means burning fat for energy in biological organisms. Note that the critical ingredient & step is adding in psyllium whole husk powder as psyllium whole husk powder creates a sensation of satiety through the entire day & allows one to skip both lunch as well as dinner as well as in-between snacks. Weight loss and weight maintenance is far too difficult without psyllium whole husk powder without the added satiety effect. Within one to four hours after breakfast, the following beverages may be consumed as they act as appetite suppressants. Beverage A: add two shots of organic espresso to 12 ounces organic almond milk & add stevia to taste. Makes a keto latte. Beverage B: Add one tablespoon organic lemon juice plus one tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar to a 16 ounce glass of water and add liquid stevia to taste. Add ice cubes to chill the drink. Beverage C: black coffee You should see immediate weight loss results if you’re also adding in a sufficient amount of exercise per day. Remember, no pain, no gain. I typically lose 1/3 pound per day with a 45 minute bicycle ride right after breakfast. I still get very mild hunger pains consisting of stomach grumbling around 5-7 pm, but I typically sip on apple cider & lemon juice flavored stevia sweetened water to make very minor hunger pains go away. I still have a sweet tooth to satisfy after breakfast, so I eat a few slices of stevia sweetened organic almond flour chocolate cake along with almond butter & stevia sweetened chia seed pudding for desert. Ingredients for keto low carb chocolate cake Recipe: 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups organic almond flour 1/2 cup organic almond milk 2 tablespoons psyllium whole husk powder -organic 1/4 cup organic walnuts Stevia to taste 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes & allow to cool in oven for 30 minutes Recipe for Keto low carb Chia seed pudding: 1/2 cup organic chia seed 1/2 cup organic cacao powder Stevia to taste 2 cups hot organic almond milk First heat 2 cups almond milk & then stir in other ingredients & chill in refrigerator when cooled. The key ingredient for the vegetable stir fry is psyllium whole husk fiber as psyllium greatly slows down the absorption of the meal so the meal lasts an entire 24 hours without major hunger pains even when exercise is added in. Very inexpensive plant based protein powder with lots of other nutrients. Great buy!
The Naked Pea protein power packs a whopping 76 2-scoop servings into a container, all of which is high quality pea protein, (just 1 clean ingredient) and loaded with other nutrients. This is the most affordable way to get a lot of protein for a low price. It is, as expected, fairly chalky, and it has no real discernable flavor. I make smoothies out of it, with 12oz unsweetened plant milk (usually almond milk), 1 Tbs of lemon juice, 1 Tbs chia seeds, 1 Tbs ground flax seed, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 scoop of the Naked Peanut Butter powder (a killer value, also with 76 servings, that has a great peanut flavor and has very low fat and no sugar, plus another 7gm of protein), some Allulose or other non caloric sweetener, 1 cup of frozen berries, and perhaps 3 or 4 ice cubes. It is pretty good, although still not as fruit forward as a regular fruit smoothie, which is why I add lemon juice for a little more zing. But dang, it makes a big smoothie that will fill you up and give you a ton of nutrients, some fiber, and a lot of protein, and actually tastes pleasant.

takes some time to adjust
When I first tried this pea protein powder, I was interested in finding a plant-based option that could provide a clean source of protein without any added flavors or sweeteners. The 5lb container is a great size, offering 76 servings, so it’s perfect if you plan to use it regularly. The powder itself is a fine, unflavored pea protein isolate, which means it’s easy to mix into shakes, smoothies, or even baked goods without altering the taste. I liked that it was unflavored because I could add it to various recipes without worrying about a strong taste interfering with other ingredients. I mixed it into my morning smoothies and post-workout shakes, and I was impressed with how easily it dissolved. There was no grittiness or aftertaste, which can sometimes be a problem with plant-based protein powders. The protein content is solid, offering 20 grams of protein per serving, which is perfect for my needs after a workout or to keep me full between meals. I also appreciated that it’s easily digestible, and I didn’t experience any bloating or discomfort, which I’ve had with other types of protein powders in the past. However, there are a couple of things I think could be improved. First, since it’s unflavored, it does have a slight pea-like taste, especially if you don’t mix it with a lot of other ingredients. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s noticeable if you drink it in just water or with just a simple fruit blend. Another thing to consider is that it can be a little less sweet than other protein powders that use stevia or other sweeteners. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you might need to add something like honey or a flavored powder to balance it out. Overall, I’m satisfied with this pea protein powder. It’s a great option for those looking for a clean, plant-based protein source that’s easy to digest and versatile. While it does have a subtle pea flavor and lacks sweetness, it works well in smoothies, shakes, and other recipes. The 5lb container offers a lot of servings, making it a good value, especially for those who use protein powder regularly. If you’re looking for an unflavored, vegan protein that delivers solid nutrition without any additives, this one is definitely worth considering.

Great and clean!!
It’s exactly what it says it is. Just pure pea protein that tastes awful since there are no additives. But I love that I can add my own quality ingredients for a yummy smoothie. Just make sure to hydrate with liquids for a good 15 minutes so it’s less gritty then add your fruits and veg.

Fantastic quality protein
Well this protein tastes like one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. That is my opinion, but it seems to corroborate what others say as well. However, the protein you get for your calories is pretty good. I like that I can control how to flavor this powder, in theory. However the way I’ve decided to consume it from now on is mix it in with some water and drink it all at once. If you are on a low carb diet, are vegan, or have a strong stomach but still want to supplement your protein intake - this will work. I’m sure it’s something I will get used to over time. I tried mixing it with other things, but I wasn’t able to remove the taste. Buyer beware, it doesn’t taste good but it will work. Alright - here is the edit: I am updating my review to be 5 stars. After now using this protein powder for over a year, I have to say I will be placing orders for it for the foreseeable future. Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way - no, it does not taste good. No, it is not easy to mask the taste of this protein. Lastly, no, this is not a protein powder that you will look forward to consuming for the taste. However, and it is a big however, the quality of this protein is fantastic. It has a full serving of all the important BCAA amino acids - this is great. It have a great protein / calorie ratio. This makes it easy to fit it into any diet, especially if you are trying to lose weight. You can generally fit this into your day easily - whether this is in between meals, after a workout, or first thing in the morning. It is also a light feeling drink; I do not feel significantly heavier or fuller after drinking it which is nice. Just keep in mind - you generally want to consume protein intake around 30-35g per 'snack' or meal. That means this is a perfect thing to end or start the day with. I throw this in my blender bottle with cold water, and then shake it until its mixed in. Fortunately this does mix well. At the end of the day, protein powder is a supplement to muscle growth, the exercise is the most important part - but, this protein has helped me with recovery and muscle growth and because of that, I do recommend it.

Unflavored is not my flavor....
It's a great Pea protein, just tastes like pea protein. Maybe the flavors don't, but the unflavored does, so much that it's hard to taste anything else(now that I'm thinking about it, unflavored is just pea flavor, not no flavor). 100% not for me. I'll take the gas from the whey protein over the taste of pea protein all day everyday. I've tried it with a chocolate shake, chocolate and peanut butter shake, and strawberry banana and pineapple smoothie, and you can't hide the taste. It actually hides the taste of the other ingredients. Just not for me.

Naked Pea protein is a good value.
It's a complete protein, though my info says methionine is on the low side. This can be made up from regular foods, though. I appreciate that sodium is only 110 mg. Carbs are low with zero added sugar. It's tasteless, which is very different from bad-tasting. I often add flavoring as an easy improvement. It mixes well with a blender or vigorous shaking in a closed container. A good value compared to the really expensive name brands.

Excellent non dairy protein powder, easier on my stomach
I originally checked this out because whey protein was giving me bloating and a lot of mucus, and honestly this has been the best non-dairy protein source I’ve tried for the price. The nutrition is great, the ingredients are simple, and it works perfectly in smoothies. A lot of people complain about the taste, but I honestly think those people are expecting it to taste sweet like whey protein. This is unflavoured pea protein, so of course it has more of an earthy/neutral taste. I mix it into smoothies with spinach, bananas, peanut butter, or almond milk and I barely notice it. If you already make green smoothies or protein shakes, the flavour really isn’t a problem at all. What I like most is how easy it is on digestion. Whey always made me feel bloated, but this one sits way better in my stomach and doesn’t give me any issues after workouts. It’s also convenient because you can throw it into shakes, oatmeal, or recipes for extra protein without adding a bunch of artificial ingredients or sweetness. Mixing is best in a blender or smoothie. I probably wouldn’t drink it plain with water because it is a little chalky on its own, but blended with other ingredients it tastes completely fine. One small thing: the scoop sizing is a bit redundant since the serving says 2 scoops. I usually just do one large scoop because it ends up being about the same amount anyway. Overall, if you want a clean, affordable, non-whey protein powder that’s easy on the stomach and great for smoothies, I highly recommend this. Hope this helps.

Excelente calidad de proteína
Sigan con su calidad de proteína, las personas que se quejan del sabor deben saber que es precisamente porque es una proteína de calidad que no tiene nada agregado que disfrace su sabor.

Bought UNFLAVORED: Can't get past the chalkiness
Absolutely horrible taste. Tasting it on its own, it's a little salty / savory. It also has a somewhat pasty texture out of the container. When mixed in liquid, the chalky taste never goes away. You can add all kinds of flavors to mask the taste, but the chalkiness never goes away. Had 2 servings...sadly, ready to throw it out.
