I think the Ella Bella Auto Curling Iron is a superior product! It was nicely packaged in a beautiful, sturdy box that included the auto curling iron, a black and gold glove, soft black travel/storage bag, instructions and a video link. The auto curler is of high quality design and very well made, quick and easy to use, not heavy, has the ability to set a timer and heat level, can curl hair towards the face or away from the face, and hair doesn't get tangled. It's reasonably priced and it comes with a three year warranty. When you register the product, you receive a text from the owner Ruth, thanking you for the purchase and offering to assist in any way she can with the product. She provides exceptional communication/customer service, which is hard to come by these days. I will be looking into purchasing other Ella Bella products as needed. I highly recommend this auto curling iron for beautiful curls that last all day!

Overall this product is: 1. SAFE- I am terrified of curling irons and have never been able to use one, but this one makes it so much easier to not burn your head. 2. EASY- this product is a simple as taking a small section, flipping it in the little slit, and pressing a button. It does take practice to master the right amount of hair and how to place it perfectly into the curler, however it took me only the second time to figure it out and you get it pretty quick. 3. AFFORDABLE- the product is worth your money, and once you get it you can VERY EASILY sign up for the warranty on the product (at no cost- the creator of this product is so sweet and easy to communicate with) 4. WORKS- and it works great with slight practice :) Like any new product I've used, I was a little skeptical at first. And I have to say, the first time I tried this curler, I was in a BIG rush. That being said, the first time I tried it, I was frustrated and it didn't come out great... my OWN fault for the following reasons; 1. Didn't have time to take my time and learn how to do it right 2. You need a good heat protectant - now I have one 3. You need good hairspray, especially as I have PIN straight hair and no curls would ever hold Now round two of trying it I corrected all three of the above issues and WOW it came out great. Curls come out beautiful. Here is how I did it: 1. Ran 1-2 drops of "Seen skin-caring magic serum" heat protectant through ends of hair (ears and down) 2. Small sections of hair are KEY to holding perfect curls. I did about 4 layers from bottom of scalp to top, each piece about an inch. You can do more depending on your hair type and it will still curl, but not as well. With larger pieces of hair, I just kept the curl in longer than when it beeps, however, it does work best with smaller pieces. 3. After each "layer" I used "Eva NYC shapeshifter flexible" hair spray. 4. Once all layers done, flip hair over head upside down and spray more hairspray (you don't need a lot with this one it sticks on thick)

The Ella Bella Automatic Rotating Curling Iron is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. If you have a hard time using a curling iron than this is the product for you. The instructions are simple and straightforward and gave me the most beautiful curls that lasted all day. I highly recommend it not only for the price point but that it is truly effortless to use.

4 starts ONLY because the first one I received was defective. The second one I ordered was missing some of the packaging that I knew the first one came with. The instuction sheet that was included also appeared to have gotten wet and then dried. So I think it might have been someone else's return. I still chose to keep it and try it out so hopefully it doesn't end up with issues. But I am still happy that I chose to order it again. I've never had so much fun curling my hair!! It was so easy and quick too! The curls it creates are beautiful, bouncy, and shiny. And it doesn't tangle or destroy your hair. So far I'm loving it!

I hardly ever give a 5 star review but I love this thing. I have long hair (mid back) and have used a variety of curling irons over the years. The curls just never last more than a few hours though. I then used a wand which kept the curls for a couple of days but it was a pain (I hated wearing the glove but then burned myself). This curler works and the curls last. Ok, the initial curls don't last all day but a nice wave remains for a couple of days. This has never happened before. The learning curve is not bad. I don't burn myself and curls are beautiful. It's hot enough. I read some reviews that say it "ripped" hair out...not sure how that could ever be. Must be user error. This curler is easy to use in my opinion. I love it.

I have never mastered how to use a curler, I also have hair that comes down past my shoulders (longer of a length). Finding an automatic curler for my hair type is difficult. The one I had previous was a closed barrel, and was advertised more for short to medium length hair. It never quite curled my ends, and it tangled constantly. I did some research and came across this curler - it had a bit of a different design then previous ones I'd seen and it was advertised for longer hair. Finally, a game - changer. This automatic curler, curls my long - thick hair in less than 30 mins. It never tangles. My curls go all the way down to the ends of my hair and last all day. I recently took it on a trip with me(I usually bring a flat iron bc they are faster, but this has been so quick and easy to use), I got so many compliments, and its so easy - quick to use I didn't find it a major time killer to do in the morning. The customer service is amazing! The warranty, communication, has been top notch and some of the best I've ever experienced. You can't go wrong with this purchase, and adding it to your hair routine. :)

My wife says that the Ella Bella curler exceeded her expectations, (which is a rare thing). She felt that it was easy to use after a couple of tries, and gives her smooth, flowing curls which left her hair looking really beautiful. She particularly liked the fact that she can control the temperature and as a result she doesn't risk damaging her hair.
