Command X-Large Utility Hook, White, 1 Hook and 3 Adhesive Strips

Hey everyone! Just dropping in to give my two cents on the Command Utility Hook, X-Large. Here's the lowdown: Price Tag: Let's talk money first. I snagged this hook for $6.99, and that was a sale price. Honestly, it feels a bit steep for a single hook. Had me raising an eyebrow for sure. Performance as a Coat Hook: Now, for the real test - holding up my coats. I'm happy to report it's doing a great job. It's handling several coats at once without any signs of struggle. The hook seems sturdy, which is a big plus in my book. Installation Perks: And here's a feature I always appreciate with Command products - no need for drilling! If you're like me and dread picking up a drill, you'll love this. It sticks right on the wall, no holes, no fuss. Overall, while the price is a bit on the higher side, the sturdiness and ease of installation make the Command Utility Hook a decent choice, especially if you want to avoid drilling holes in your walls. Just be ready to open your wallet a bit wider for this one!

It’s perfect for keys, bags, tools, or any household items that need a secure, accessible spot. Installation is quick and completely tool-free — just peel, stick, and you’re ready to go. The adhesive holds impressively well, even with heavier loads, and removal is just as simple, leaving no marks or residue behind. I particularly appreciate how versatile it is — ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, garages, or entryways — and the large size accommodates bulkier items with ease. It’s a small, practical product that makes organizing your home effortless and stress-free. Overall, the Command X-Large Utility Hook is a dependable, no-fuss solution for anyone who wants strong, damage-free hanging options. Practical, reliable, and surprisingly durable — a must-have for organized living.

Great item. I used this to Hang a smallish wooden ladder in a storage cupboard, just below 7kg and has never given sign of coming off. It's a big hook as it has to support a lot of kg and it does the job brilliantly. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Very easy to hang items as the hook is quite wide. I trust, like other 3M products, that if I will remove it, it would just come off nicely and without leaving damages.

I've used a lot of Command products over the years, mainly pictures stickers, Hooks and clear and white mini hooks for fairy lights so naturally I went straight to command for a very heavy duty hook for my work bag to hang off in my clinic room however after applying this hook and leaving for 8hrs, I hung up my bag for it to fall straight off. The adhesive when i looked does not seem to be as strong and in fact i have found that with the mini hooks for my fairy lights as I bought a new set to replace ones in my dining room widow and these too fell off within 10mins of hanging the lights up and that was after 3hrs of adhering. I can't help but wonder if they've changed the adhesive formula for cheaper alternative. Unable to request refund and can't seem to buy replacement strips to try again so a complete waste of almost £9. Really disappointed.

Good size hook for heavy coats etc

Brought two of these hooks to hang up 3 step Aluminium stepladders but despite leaving the hooks to set for a day before hanging the ladders the hooks came off the wall one at a time. I replaced the strips of double sided tape with some I purchased and the ladders are now hanging on a single hook. So books are strong but tape i proved inferior.

I bought these to hang hand towels on, in my spare toilet. I am quite delighted with these hooks, they look that part and are sturdy. Very easy to fit and holds the towel neatly on the door. They are well made but light and have not done the paint work any damage. I would buy them again, they have been an easy alternative to drilling holes and using toggle screws and making permanent holes in woodwork ...

Fantastic product. Used inside a cupboard to hold my small steps. Strong and sturdy as described.

Perfect for a bathrobe or big towel

I rent and was requested not to drill into the walls of our home, so I purchased 22 of these to hang what I would normally screw into the walls. I used two per picture I was hanging just to be safe which was far below the weight limit marked on the package. During the night all but two pictures fell destroying the picture frame and causing a lot of other damage. On top of that, when I went to remove the part stuck to the wall on the ones that didn't fall, the tab just ripped off. Do not buy these!

I always bring command products back from the US when I visit. They don’t ever ever leave marks on my wall or take off paint. STRONG hold, definitely hold the weight it says it will on the package. PLEASE Bring MORE M3 command products to Germany!

Extremely handy product when you live in an apartment as a student and move around a lot. Increases storage possibility in the apartment considerably, and does not leave any mark after removal. Only downside is that sometimes you have to use floss to remove the hook from the wall since the place where you can pinch your fingers breaks off.
