PROS:-Really nice quality leather-Suede seat-Fit my round 10h pony wellCONS:-Heavier then expected, with leathers and irons it's too heavy for my 2 yr old to carry-I can see it will be easy for the stirrup leathers to slip out of the stirrup bars. There is no way to lock them but I guess that's for safety?-Seat could have a little more cushionSUMMERY:I almost sent this saddle back but then I tried it on my pony and liked how it fit and it seems to be of good quality so I'm keeping it. Nowhere on the saddle is it marked Henri De Rivel and it's made in India not France so....IDKI also purchased the HDR oakbark mini leathers and 3.5 peacock irons. Together they make a cute setup.

This is the first saddle that has actually fit my round 10.2 hand pony. With the help of a crupper and a no- slip pad, it stays put. I would have liked at least a 14 inch saddle but this seems to only come in 13 inch which is OK but not ideal. I love how the stirrup bars move for easy access. The little girl who has ridden in this saddle says it is quite comfortable. The really little kids love the front strap as it makes them feel safe Truly it is the only saddle that has not bothered my green pony.

My child in just a year old and this saddle is so well balanced. She loves the strap and I think she feels more secure then in the tiny western saddle I had for her
