The work, the publisher did on completing all of the chains and regenerating the maps, charts, and artwork is very much appreciated. I have the TCR in a 1964 Kirkbride edition, Zondervan’s new release of the Kirkbride edition from a few years ago, and the premier copy in NIV, NKJV, and KJV. On a whim I was just cruising around desertcart and I saw that they’ve been selling the handy size and immediately had to grab one. I must be honest, I was very apprehensive about the size of the font. I’m 66 years old, I should not be staring at eight point fonts all the time. And, if I’m honest, I’ve never liked the comfort print font in 10 point or 11 point size. So maybe it might work in an 8ptI had to give it a shot. I love the print font and 8pt. I’ve been reading this Bible for about three days now constantly and I have absolutely no eye strain whatsoever. For those of you who like me were concerned about the font size I can hear you saying sure the Bible text is 8pt but all the references are a smaller font. You are correct, of course, but I have no problem reading those either. Now let’s talk about the construction of this Bible: this Bible was made in South Korea. I did not expect a premier level Bible. And it is not one. It is printed on what I believe is a 30 GSM paper. It’s very nice. It’s very opaque. It’s very comfortable to turn. The gilding on the page edges is done well for a $50 Bible. However, when they printed the text block, lower portion was kind of wavy. That will never work its way out, but it doesn’t need to. The print is a consistent, wonderful, dark color. The red (burgundy) text is very very nice. The plastic cover is a plastic cover lol. But I love this little Bible so much. I’m gonna send it out and have it rebound in a nice sokoto goatskin leather. I know I’m crazy, I’m gonna take a $50 Bible and make it into a $350 Bible. Call me crazy but learn one thing from this, I love this little Bible that much. I want this little Bible to be something that I’m reading 30 years from now if I’m still around at that point in time. If not, someone’s gonna inherit one fantastic Bible. Review: Very useful to personal experience - Easy to read and to navigate through the Bible.

My Absolute Favorite Bible!!!!!
The Thompson Chain Reference Bible, is literally one of the BEST Bibles you could own!!! When it come down to studying and getting a good understanding… look no further folks! I am sooo excited writing this review. And NO I’m not getting paid to write this review. 🥰📕 I was pleasantly surprised to find this TCRB at this very reasonable price! “BLESSED” I enjoy many different translations. Nevertheless, I love the NKJV! I kid you not, I have many bibles, but this is my favorite! I posted a video so you could see how beautiful it is. Very well made. Nothing like a good quality Bible. Shipping was very good… As you can see the box the Bible came in is in PERFECT CONDITION! I am very well pleased with this purchase, and I know you will be to! Don’t hesitate just buy it!!! 📕
