Great price for a solid well designed product.I looked at a number of locks like this one, but none matched the features, price and quality I wanted. This is my first Eufy product and so far so good. High quality and a pretty easy install and setup.Make sure this will fit properly in your door. See the measurements provided by the company.The app is really pretty easy to use and I love the auto locking feature and the ability to temporarily assign a code to the person that takes care of our cats while we are away. It keeps a log of all the ins and outs and it also had alerts that let you know if the lock is being used. I need to take the time to fix the weather stripping our door so it closes completely, because sometimes the lock can't lock because the door is not fully closed. That is the fault of the door, not the lock and the cool thing is that the app tells me when it tries to automatically lock and failed.The only negative I have seen is that on a rare occassion, the lock seems to glitch when I go to lock it when leaving the house. I just wait a beat and then put my thumb on it again and it works great.The lock looks great and seems to be well built. We use it with Alexa as well and it was easy to integrate into the Alexa app.Fingerprint recognition is the same as what you do on the phone and it has never failed for any of us.We no longer have to worry about making keys or losing them, but it does come with a key in case there is an electical issue of some kind.I am really happy with this purchase from a price to quality and features perspective and highly recommend it.

I purchased this smart lock after returning a different brand. This was recommended as no. 1 or 2 in a list provided at the end of a yourube video about preparing for a health crisis for people who live alone. Being able to unlock the door remotely(upstairs by your phone) for paramedics' quick access is a really essential.I was so disgusted with the first one I purchased. Setup and programming was ridiculously complicated. I couldn't even figure out which app to download. Removed it and tossed it oIn the box to return.This one came a few hours later (same day) and I installed it myself in 15 minutes, just like the manufacture promised. I pulled up a youtube video and it went exactly as it was supposed to.The app functions well and was simple to install and pair. What a nice sound, hearing the deadbolt latch on demand from another room.Highly recommend.

My favorite thing about it so far is the speed and accuracy of the fingerprint scanner. That actually brings up my first issue because it scanned great for me but not my wife. I quickly determined she put lotion on her hands right before registering her prints.... After I asked her to wash and dry her hands, it scanned her prints perfectly every time.The second issue was that the deadbolt was getting stuck about 20% of the time if it locked itself and up to 40% if I locked it manually. I realized that the hole in the doorway wasn't deep enough in some spots. I used a trick I saw on YouTube that had me put some paint on the end of the deadbolt, then locked it. Then I looked in the hole to see what parts had paint on it,b and I used a file and Dremel to smooth away the wood to create a slightly bigger opening. Now I've got about a 95% success rate of it opening quickly without having to retry.There is that 5% remaining tough that needs a couple attempts or a manual intervention.... So I do plan to always carry a key with me just in case. But otherwise, I'm happy with the product. It even works great with my Google/Nest Assistant and will unlock via voice (with a pin). Was able to share access with my wife's iPhone as well.

This is an excellent option if you are goi.g to i vest in the eufy ecosystem. I have installed 3 of these and they easily replace an existing deadbolt. The app is pretty good. There is an option to auto lock at a particular time...this seems to work hit or miss. But, the fingerprint fu action makes up for that.

Setup was mostly very simple and straight forward. I would have appreciated step-by-step instructions from eufy instead of an instructional video, but it was manageable. (It's also possible I missed the step-by-step guide somewhere). Programming the lock works like a charm (iPhone 14 Pro user, the app is great and intuitive!). We previously had a different smart lock (different brand) and I'm already more pleased with this one! The app is better, the value is incredible, the fingerprint reader is such a simple/easy-to-use feature, and its locking mechanism is smooth and quiet. The old lock had louder mechanics, a clunkier app interface, and the keypad was inconsistent. Overall, I give this a 5 out of 5! I'd install this again and again.
