This listing is for a set of 3 grab bag chicken saddles. This listing is a country farm theme. Size will fit a large standard hen. This saddle only covers the back of the hen. NOT the wings. Saddles are made of cotton on the top and a light weight woven cotton for the bottom. Elastic on both sides to slide the wings thru. A hen or chicken saddle is a apron that you put on your hens/chickens to protect their backs from roosters during mating. Hens often lose their feathers, sustain cuts and dashes during mating. This can cause infection, picking, cannibalism and death. Measurements Approx. 8" L X- 7"W. The elastic stretches to 10" in width. I double sew for durability. This a reminder that it is always in the best interest to remove a hen who is injured or being pecked by the flock.
