Q: What is the numeric thickness? i see it is "thick" as a qualatative, but i want the quantitative number please.

The dimensions are listed in some of their other neck tools and I would believe they are all the same except for length (scale length) and notch gap (fret layout). Dimensions listed . .125"x1.5"x18.5" Machined Edge Aluminum. The one I have matches the 1/8" width/thickness. It is straight and "thick" enough that it should not bow.

Q: Will this help me check neck angle when installing a new neck?

It only helps you adjust your necks upbow and backbow when using a truss rod.

Q: Will this fit martin’s 25.4 scale length? i’m guessing it’s close enough to 25.5 that it should. has anyone tried it on a d 18?

No, not close enough. We have a Martin scale tool. 25.4"/24.9" Thanks.

Q: For the manufacturer, what is the accuracy of the slots? Could I use it for fret slotting?

No. The slots are cut wide so you don’t damage your frets. Stumac has a gauge and and correct slot thickness for fret tang thickness
