exciting times we are in!
Finally I understand why Jesus did not stay in this realm. I thought more would be awakened if he stayed. The Masters explain.

Truth so simple yet profound. These 5 volumes are life changing.
The most profound set of books I have ever read. Life changing! The Masters have opened the door, within these 5 volumes, to the TRUTH, the REALITY that they live by, that the conquered life and death through, and they maintain that we can do the same by living by the same principles. Christ said the same: "These things I do, ye can also do and even greater works than these shall ye do." These sacred words - and so many others that come directly from these illumined beings - have always been available to those who seek with their eyes open (eyes to see and ears to hear) - but so few seem to find this true path. A complete guide is offered here. To all who wish to KNOW.... be brave, open minded, and walk through the door of the inner awarness and teachings found in "The Life and Teachings". Disregard the "debunkers" and "nay sayers". Jesus had words for such misguided people as well: "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." The TRUTH, offered on every page, in its radiant and simple purity, as obvious as it seems to the open mind, is not at all obvious to those with closed eyes... who will not see by their own choice. All sincere truth seekers - you have found these volumes. Take in every word, every page, slowly, deeply, absorbing these truths that seem miraculous, but as the Masters say, are but the LAW that governs all creation, completely natural - and accessable. Let no doubter who cannot comprehend these truths disuade you from forward progress. They must be where they are, perhaps these books will never be understandable (at least in this life) to them, but for all seeking FREEDOM from error in thought and consciousness... step onto this path and see what happens. "Ye shall know the TRUTH and the TRUTH will make you free."

The intro mentions "fiction"
I've given the book three stars as a sort of compromise. I see references to the book by others as if the narration were completely factual. Well, we can all choose to "believe" what we want. "Belief" does not necessarily require proof. But the fact that this narration is believed to be true does not make it so. The introduction says we can interpret it as fictional or factual. That, in and of itself, tells me there is a large fictional component. Now, this does not mean that there are no valid insights in the book. I have obtained insights from books which clearly label themselves as fantasy or fiction. A good author can put words in his character's mouth that have relevance, meaning and permanence. But what I do not like about this book is that it presents some insights couched in the allegation that the events are factual. There is no independent validation of the occurrence of these events. Even the other members of the "team" are never identified. And as another (1 star) reviewer has indicated, there is no real record of this "research". I am left to conclude that the author decided to communicate his perception of certain "insights" in the context of a fictional story. That's completely OK, but it would be more palatable if the author was open and honest about his approach.Presenting these events as "reality" places the author, in my mind, at the level of a Uri Geller: a very clever magician who passed off his tricks as "metaphysical and psychic manifestations", although every single one of them was replicated by performing professional magicians who made no claim to any kind of psychic powers. Of course, there are still gullible souls out there who WANT to believe that Geller is authentic, and they can, but that doesn't make him any more legitimate. But back to the book. If you want to read it for the insights, go ahead. There are some good observations and then there are others...If you want to consider the whole book as a factual account, you can do that too. However, be advised that your considering it such does not make it any more factual.Faith is good. It has done some good in this world. It has also done some horrendous things. And it's a difficult thing to deal with because it requires no proof. That's why it's called "faith". If it were provable, it would be called "fact". So you can "believe" this story is "true", but be advised that without any proof of its veracity, you are engaging in an act of faith. Which, again, is OK... If it leads to good things. But blind faith can lead you astray. That's why it's good to also look into reliable sources for guidance. I have found that the writings of the Dalai Lama are a great source of inspiration... And consider him a highly credible source. I would recommend that those who choose to read this book also validate its insights with a source like the Dalai Lama.

Strangely Propetic
The awakened one perceives the creative pulse within their heart and soul; they come alive to the life-force coursing through their veins. At this point, one can see a path towards the progressive realization of their dreams. Having close regard for the wilderness of experiences that must be overcome "on the way" facilitates the awakening process - the expansion of consciousness. Like many teachings from the East, this book describes, through prose and literary license, the path back to Source consciousness, where we are reunified with the Primordial Alpha and Omega. First published in 1924, the contents are strangely prophetic. The messages are as applicable today as they were 100 years ago. So much so that I often had an experience when reading that Baird T. Spalding was a time-traveler, a shapeshifting shaman who could see 2020 before it happened, which made this a spine-tingling read.

Incredible read
Loved reading this! It was interesting to find the details and put Jesus and St. John in India. It would be more believable if there were names given to the temples and paces visited. It would have made it more authentic but nevertheless the messages in the book coincide with a lot of new age thinking about how the consciousness of our world is evolving. So it is a very good read from that perspective. Also, an easy read, not heavy.

Excellent
It’s recommended for people who really want to know the Truth (of Christ in man) and for those spiritual thinkers who need loose ends tied up. It resonated with our souls meaning that as I read, I knew I was reading the truth and that I knew it and have always known it (the truths given in the book)

Incredible insight
What an inspirational piece of literature. After reading this first volume, I feel life has a depth of discovery that thrills me to contemplate grasping but a sliver, of their offering. Highly recommend this volume of 6 books.
