Hogarth artwork is great
I’ve always liked the comic books and movies of Tarzan. Then when I discovered the comic strips I was hooked. Burne Hogarth art on this Tarzan strip is my favorite rendition of the lord of the jungle. Highly recommended

Hogarth komplett, Tarzan lückenhaft
technisch gelungene Reproduktion. Ausgezeichneter Druck, aber man sollte genau lesen, es sind nur die Seiten von Burn Hogarth. Tarzan damit lückenhaft. Hogarth hat zwischendurch ausgesetzt. Es ist ist daher in der Erscheinung eine Lücke. Will man chronologisch die Sonntagsseiten ab Beginn haben, muss man auf die Nachdrucke vom Hethke Verlag zurückgreifen. Diese sind 'stur' jahrgangsweise in Bücher zusammengefaßt. Alle Tarzan-Zeichner sind nur dort enthalten. Als Tarzanausgabe daher ist die US-Ausgabe also nur bedingt brauchbar ... Wenn man auch die anderen Zeichner haben möchte muss man auf andere Publikationen zurückgreife. So sind auch die Ausgaben von Russ Mannings schon erschienen - Sundays und Dailys. Einen gesamten Überblick chronologisch erhält man also nicht ... schade Chance verpasst. Für den schönen Druck leider daher nur 3 Sterne
