This camera produces unbelievable image quality in both daylight, and total darkness.PRO: Easy to use remote "Cloud" app...CON: Easy to use remote "Cloud: app. I hate the cloud, with EVERY manufacturer trying to shoe-horn its customers into some sort of "pay-us-forever" scheme, with "premium" features contrived to part you from your money, and just wait until their servers are hacked, placing your data into the hands of some unsavory characters. You can get the same "remote" viewing services with a private DVR/NVR and your home router, leaving control of your security up to you.PRO: The WiFi is excellent, allowing this camera to be installed with a power cable only...CON: The image quality over WiFi is exceptional, but there is a significant amount of delay, and "choppy" video when the receiving WiFi device is at the edge of the camera's WiFi signal range...CON: The fewer WiFi signals bleeding RF all over your property, the better. More WiFi devices always means more interference, and problems with other connected devices. The more WiFi you add, the bigger the problems, and this camera is another source of RF "pollution"...CON: WiFi Security. Yeah, they all say that the security levels are adequate, but are they really? If you use the WiFi features of this camera, PLEASE take the time to change the default user ID/Password, or you may find your camera doing part-time duty mining Bit Coin for a stranger, or worse. Better yet, don't use the WiFi, use PoE.PRO: PoE capability makes wiring easy...CON: ...But this camera does not ship with a PoE "802.3af" injector, which is a power-brick that inserts between the camera and the router to provide both power and data over a single Cat5/Cat6 Ethernet cable.PRO: This camera ships with a 12-Volt power adapter...CON: ...But the power adapter cord isn't long enough to wire the camera any distance without an extension cable.PRO: PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) allows you to point the camera at your subject and zoom-in for detail. Sending PTZ commands are easily controlled from the mobile device app.CON: PTZ - Unlike "coax-wired" security cameras which usually have a separate cable for controlling Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Focus, IR, and Aperture over serial RS-485, which also requires an expensive "joystick console", this camera must receive its PTZ commands over its WiFi or Ethernet data connection, so it must be controlled by the device application installed on a PC or mobile device. This is a "CON" because it will be difficult to employ PTZ functions using a 'manufacturer-independent" installation.

I bought two of these with the intention of using them with my Synology NAS DS918+ but unfortunately after hours of trying it will not connect. The product looks great and when using the phone or desktop app no problem. I'm not sure if it's a synology issue or a Reolink issue but my patience ran out to do more inquiry. I also bough several amcrest cameras for my NAS and had no issues with Amcrest. The cables on the back; there are no instructions on how to install this on a wall, my intention was to do it through a brick wall but these cables are quite large and I did not feel comfortable dissembling the camera to access the main cord. Will be sending this back.

I was excited to get this camera. It just looks and feels solid. It has things on it that I have not seen on other cameras, unfortunately the documentation makes no mention of those features. It does pan 360 degrees and is fast. It comes right up on wired LAN and is rock solid. WiFi just does not work. Even when I set it right next to my router with 100% signal strength and no channel interference, it would not remain connected but would frequently drop out and (sometimes) reconnect on its own before dropping out again. With an enterprise quality wireless access point, it would connect to the network, but not to the camera software or a browser. I could see the camera on my network and I could ping it and do a trace route, but that is all.The image quality is not as good as with my Logisafe camera. The picture is not as bright and it switches to IR mode about an hour earlier than my other camera. I was not able to find any image controls to use to improve the image.I would call the customer support spotty. Over a 5 day period I sent them 6 emails and got 2 responses from a person and one automatic acknowledgement. The responses were appropriate with good clarifying questions, but mostly I just felt ignored.I would have kept this camera if I had a LAN cable at the location I needed this camera mounted. Also, it did not come with a water proof LAN connector.

Overall it is an amazing high quality product for an amazing low price. I just wish a little bit more control over the night mode threshold and control over the IR LEDs, continuous recording on the onboard SD Card and be able to change the SD Card for a bigger one.Pros:Amazing product build quality with full metal housing.Incredible image quality.The infrared led adjust with the zooming in/out.You can control the image focus.It has build in SD Card memory to store video during motion detection.Fast and precise motor.You can move the camera in very slow small precise increments for micro adjustments or move fast for positioning on programmable presets.Horizontally it ca even go non stop 360 degrees which is pretty cool.You can use their PC software or NVR to continuously record.Cons:The build-in memory can only be used for motion detection videos no continuous recording although you can use your PC or NVR.Can’t put bigger SD Card.The night Black & white vídeo mode triggers earlier than I would like. I wish I had some control over that.After zooming in/out the image become fuzzy and the autofocus takes a long time but once’s is focused the image is very sharp so presets touring should avoid changing the zoom.No precise control over the IR LEDs only zooming in/out changes the IR LED illumination.
