This game is a gift that we ordered for a family member who has the smaller sized game tiles, however, we have not given it to them yet. The package was delivered to us, in a very prompt and timely manner, so we could check it out. We think for the price and how well it looks in a very sturdy case, we are extremely pleased with this mahjong set. Thank you Amazon for your service and quality product. Gorgeous! Elegant! These are two words I definitely will use to describe this Mahjong set. The tiles are a turquoise color and have a classic game design. This premium set comes in a beautiful, organized storage box with dice and point pieces. This set is more pricey than an average set and that is because it's more beautiful and has more accessories that come with the tiles. Therefore, it really is a bargain for the price. The size and thickness of the tiles are average. The American Mahjong game takes some time to learn. Yet, once it is matered, it holds the promise of many fun nights of family and friends competition.
