I bought this phone for my mother-in-law, who has dementia and it's a tool in providing her with independence and keeping her in her own home longer. The large buttons make it easy for her to call us and the ability to program the phone to almost eliminate irritating robo or telemarketer calls is amazing! Highly recommend!

We needed to replace a landline that did not have the features we wished we had. (Didn't do our homework well enough). We had a Panasonic years ago which never failed us. So we got another one and are very happy with it. Big easily readable display. Easy to see who called. Easy to know when a new message has arrived. Easy to hear speaker feature. Easy to mute if needed. Easy to block unknown callers. Easy to locate a missing handset. All in all, the phone we should have gotten in the first place. Happy to have it.

Overall, it's a great phone. Just be sure to understand that it doesn't have an answering machine on it. That's my bad, I should have looked harder at the description.

Phone failed after 5 months. I bought for my 91 yo mother in law who lives alone. We were concerned recently when trying to call her with no response. After 48 hrs we learned the phone had malfunctioned. We now purchased a new phone to replace the newly purchased Panasonic. I don't recommend buying from Amazon if they don't have a longer warranty for these products. $37 in this economy is too much money to throw away.

Purchased for elderly parents who do not use cellular as main house phone. Sound quality is good, even for dad who has hearing aids. Unfortunately, the extension units would lose connection to the base but luckily that didn't completely diminish functionality.
