1993 Fox Body Mustang Worked Great
Car had supports on it from 1993 and as expected did nothing. Just bought the car and this was first thing I did to it. Tools you will need are a good phillips screwdriver to carefully remove the lower mounts. Small flat blade screwdriver to undo the spring clips used to attach the struts to the pegs on the car. Someone to hold the hatch up as you work. I did it solo and it was not fun, that hatch is very heavy. My dog doesn't have thumbs so I had to get it done by myself. Stabilus was the original I found the info upon removal. I know what I will use if any issues. Picture worth a thousand words. Hatch works like new again.

Shocks wore out on your hood or rear hatch?
Shocks work great, economically priced and do the job. Hate having to,hold the hood open with a stick! Getto! China made but is working fine. Need more parts made in 🇺🇸

Great replacement for old factory ones!
We bought these to replace the factory ones on our old Mustang hatchback. They installed easily and quickly and were a great replacement!

Worked great for my 89 mustang lift gate
These are pretty good. The only warning I’d give is that the clips slide forward instead of how alot of these struts clips slide out.

Edited - Wore out after 1 1/2 years.
Installed these struts on my 1993 Mustang LX Hatch. Fit just like the OEM's I removed. Fixed the drooping hatch issue and keeps the hatch pulled nice and tight. Great product and fitment. Edit 1 1/2 years later. Shocks wore out and no longer support my hatch. Stock ones lasted 25 years, these didn't make it 18 months. Very disappointed.
