really soft, looks really stupid in vacuum in sealed bag but is fluffy and cute

Tiny little capybara plush toy was ideal for an extra 'silly' present for my daughter!It was realistically priced at £5 and complimented the capybara t-shirt I bought her.It sits with her other fluffies on her bed!

Price at review: £9.49The listing photos (which are all mock-ups) make this look significantly larger than it really is.At its maximum extent from tip of nose to tail it is, at best, 16 cm. It comes in a vacuum packed bag but it did manage to recover somewhat after being plumped up.It is fairly cute and soft but overall pretty basic. I think the current price is a bit expensive for what it really is.One of the product photos advertises that its filling is "PP cotton" with pictures of natural cotton. PP cotton is made of polypropylene which is the same plastic as milk bottles. It is not a natural fiber and has nothing to do with natural cotton. The label says 100% polyester which is a different material again.I don't see how its possible for all of these contradictory statements to be true which reduces trust in the product overall as it implies that these statements are misleading.

This is nowhere near the size it's advertised as. In the listing it looks like the capybara is quite large. It isn't. In reality it's only about 5 inches in length and is only just a little bit bigger than my 9 year old son's hand (see picture). This is extremely dishonest and disingenuous especially as this is such a small plush. Many people are going to be fooled into buying what they think is a much bigger plushy. It's the main reason why I've knocked so many stars off my review score.It's a real shame as the capybara itself is actually ok. It's very soft, well made and the stitching looks competent. Once you get it out of the vacuum sealed bag it comes in, it fluffs up nicely.Very disappointed in this though.

This capybara plush is super cute, but that's about all the complements I can give to it!The materials used to make the push are nothing premium, and the plush is very small. Personally, the quality of it is akin to the kind of toys you'd win in an arcade - cheap and mass-produced!Although this little capybara plush is incredibly cute, I do think it's quite severely overpriced! I would not be comfortable recommending it at its current price of £9.49!
