Always a hilarious clean film.
Bought this as I already had recorded the film on a DVD but the film as being constantly interrupted with ad breaks which is most annoying. It was good to be able to watch the whole film through. The DVD was good quality with a clear picture and good sound. Definitely brought back memories.

Good film, not quite as dated as I feared
I loved the Pink Panther films as a kid - I remember literally rolling around on the floor unable to breathe with giggles at the pool table scene in A Shot in the Dark. Some slapstick genius moments. I thought my young kids might enjoy it as it is purely the comedy of the absurd. Was a bit nervous about ‘outdated attitudes’ having not seen it for so many years and it is indeed a product of its time with some of the casual racism and misogyny that typified the 70s and that generation (No, mum you can’t say that... Yes, I know it was ‘ok’ when you were younger... Yes, I know you’re not racist.... No, it’s not nonsense...). However, the instances were rarer than I had feared and did not make the film unwatchable. Predictably it was a few remarks about Cato which were most contentious. I used these to have a conversation about racism afterwards. After all, it needs to be done.

It’s Peter Sellers. It’s Clouseau. What more needs to be said. It you’ve never watched these films, then you are missing out. Laugh til you drop!

Hilarious
This is one of my favourite films. Peter Sellers is quite simply, a genius. Some scenes will leave you in stitches - it utterly hilarious and will cheer you up very quickly. You need this in your film collection - not to mention the Pink Panther film collection. Highly recommended!

ESTA PELICULA NO TIENE AUDIO ESPAÑOL, NI SUBTITULOS EN ESPAÑOL. es mas solo tiene audio en INGLES. sin subtítulos. COMO PELICULA ES UNA OBRA MAESTRA DEL CINE DE HUMOR Y SE VE MUY BIEN, CON BUEN SONIDO. PERO SOLO EN INGLES. Ahora me tocara devolverla. La única queja seria que tendrían que avisar por parte de Amazon que vende este articulo en ESPAÑA, que menos que avisar que NO TIENE AUDIO EN ESPAÑOL. La valoración que dejo es a la película
