So far so good. It's a normal spinning hard drive. It works. It looks nice and is a good alternative to overpriced SSDs (Thanks to the current AI Data Centers craze!).

Excellent design which I have not seen in any portable hard drive. It is big in size and those of you who are used to slim SSDs manage your expectations. Nothing special in functionality, it just works.

If you don't have considerable technical knowledge, do not buy this product. I found it impossible to set up…and when I contacted the company, their advice was so complicated that I finally gave up. Meanwhile, in going through their various prompts I discovered that some of the data had been used. Did this belong to a previous buyer who had returned it -- or did I manage to back up something during my efforts. In any case, I can't risk returning it. I am now revising my review -- because rather than give up entirely, I contacted Apple Support. Talked with two AI "people" and two live agents -- and the second one actually knew how to make it work. Just did my second weekly back-up and it's working fine!

Like others here report, the drive fails as a time machine with a MAC product, and fails to open when the computer turns even though it is plugged in. I thought I could put up with it until...... it stopped doing backups, even though it has enough space. I received my item late January 2026, so only less than 7.5 months old. And never - or don't recall - receiving any Adobe freebies with it.... weird. My other Lacie time machines worked perfectly for over 10 years. I am really disappointed at spending over $200 for this unreliable piece of hardware, do not recommend.

Good drive. I like the size and it is fast enough for my needs. What makes me mad is the price.

Produit parfait, rien à dire. Au debut, comme probablement beaucoup d'entre nous, je me suis dit 'j'acheté le moins cher' (produit chinois, 30 balles sur Amazon). Mais, au bout d'une journée, mes données n'étaient pas encore copiées... Du coup je l'ai renvoyé. Et là, avec ce disque dur, zéro problèmes. Petit, rapide et solide. Je conseille. Nos données sont importantes, il ne faut pas le confier à n'importe quel disque dur !

Ho acquistato vari prodotti LaCie nel tempo e non ne sono mai stato deluso. Venendo a questo HD, ne avevo acquistato uno meno di un anno fa e ne sono rimasto soddisfattissimo, da qui la decisione per replicare per fare backup del materiale dell'altro disco... Contentissimo della scelta e LaCie una certezza

Articles neufs reçus dans leur emballages d'origine fermés comme à la sorti d'un magasin. Disques durs fidèles à la marque, pour ceux qui pleurent par rapport à la capacité de stockage, sachez que c'est normal d'avoir 4.54To au lieu de 5To c'est comme ça et c'est valable pour tous les disques. Il y a toujours une perte alors ce n'est pas la peine de se plaindre pour rien sauf si celle-ci est excessive bien sûr mais à l'origine la différence augmente en fonction de la capacité. Plus le disque est volumineux plus la perte sera importante. Bref c'était pour info. Ils fonctionnent très bien, dommage que je n'ai pas les 130Mo/s en transfert mais bon c'est pas la fin du monde. Même à 40Mo/s j'ai pu transférer mes quasi 10To en quelques jours. N'oubliez pas que c'est un disque dur pas un SSD alors soyez indulgent. L'important c'est qu'ils fonctionnent dans la durée et qu'ils stockent sans encombres. Je les ai eu à 155€ l'unité, prix qui a monté tout de suite après mon deuxième achat à...188€ Profitez quand les prix sont bas. Je recommande c'est du bon matos
