Super easy setup and solid performance!
Picked up the D-Link DMS-105 to upgrade my home network, and it's been great so far. Literally just plugged everything in and it worked immediately — no setup, no weird steps, just done. I’m getting full 2.5G speeds between my PC and NAS with no drops or hiccups. The switch is small, doesn’t get hot, and since it’s fanless, it’s totally silent which is a huge plus for my office.Build quality feels solid too, like something that’ll last for years. Definitely happy I spent a little more to get a multi-gig switch instead of sticking with a regular gigabit one. If you want a fast, no-fuss upgrade for your network, this is a great choice. Would absolutely buy it again.

East to setup, Don't, need lag as they are very fast.
Great Switches. Unmanaged, but very fast. A little expensive but work perfectly. Have lights that show 100 meg 2.5 gig and 1g connection speed. D-link quality.

For Audio
I decided to get this switch to (theoretically) maximize the integrity of the electrical signals carrying packets of information to my streamer (WiiM Pro). My intention was to create some distance from potential interference of the router before splitting off the signal. I also have the ifi LAN iSilencer isolating the input AND switched the power supply to a 12v ifi iPower2 😅 I changed a lot at once, and I wasn’t in a position to blind test any of those individual components, but (and I’ll openly chalk the experience up to psychoacoustics), I do feel I heard a bit more clarity in some pretty “thick” mixes (e.g. the “Mandy” and “It Follows” scores). Put another way, perhaps the circumstance simply allowed me to perceive more of the “live feed” from my senses (versus something consolidated over time like a smell), but I’m confident I’m not doing any harm to the system. The whole idea stemmed from (in addition to different advice on YouTube) learning that the clock in my WiiM is a reflection of its affordability. I also have a Denafrips Ares 12-1, which has a buffer and reclocking, so I was probably fine, but I figured if I can’t improve the WiiM, I can make its job (and anything downstream) easier 🤷♂️. My Roku Ultra is also catching signal from the D-Link. I see no differences there, but again, no perceived foul. The switch itself seems sturdy and worked right out of the box. I also appreciate the grounding post, given I’m using shielded Ethernet cables. It’s takes up little space and the lights aren’t distracting, which is nice. It might not be doing what I intended it to do, but I have every confidence it is doing what it’s *designed* to do very well.

Fast and compact.
It is a little pricey, but it is well built and does not compromise your network performance. I use it to share two 2.5 Gbps ports on my NAS with other equipment and it delivers. Keep in mind, this is unmanaged switch, so adjust your ethernet settings accordingly.

Great Little Switches
Bought 3 to upgrade my network for Fiber 2 gig connection. All work as intended and the lights were great for finding one bad cable not running at the intended 2.5 gigs. Replaced the cable and the switch lit up blue. Perfect. My only complaint would be the price. I remember my old gigbit switches being a lot cheaper than these even when gigbit first came out as the norm. I'm just glad I didn't decide to do 10 gig throughout my house; I'd be broke before I was finished.

Fast Speeds in a Small Package
Love this unmanaged switch! It is very fast and I appreciate the LEDs to understand what speed it is running at. Speed test verified it does indeed hit it's advertised speeds. Well worth the price for the extra boost in speed over 1 gig switch.

Plug and Play for speed
This thing just works. Upgraded my internet and wanted to directly wire my entertainment system. Just plugged it in and Boom! Multiple high speed cables for all my smart devices

Good Quality Switch pricey though
great unit, I think these switches are quite bit pricey for five ports, went with DLink as compared to cheaper Chinese brands which will fail prematurely and won't keep up with speeds, my observation reading many long term reviews, I have been using Netgear 16 port gigabit switch for 6 year with no issues, I am using it with EERO Pro 7 with gigabit internet I am get 1.2 Gbps as per test, soon we will be switching to higher speed so this will be handy. they are slightly warm to touch while in use but not hot.
