Skull Daddy Graphics Solid Fender Vent Decals Compatible with fit Jeep Wrangler Gladiator Rubicon JL JT 2018-2026 (Matte Black/Rubi Red)

I have very little experience applying decals, and the ones I have applied have been fairly small, easy to handle. So I was a little apprehensive with these. I decided to err on the side of caution, I used the wet method. Had I not done that, it would’ve been a disaster. The wet method allows you to reposition the decal as needed. If you do it dry, you are essentially committing to your first attempt, and it will likely be inaccurate. So please do yourself a favor and follow the instructions for the wet method. I found an empty Windex spray bottle in our recycling bin, rinsed it out, and filled it halfway with water, a drop of dish detergent, and a tablespoon of isopropyl alcohol. Worked like a champ. Make sure the vehicle surface is CLEAN and I mean SPOTLESS. Lay the decal paper side down on an absolutely flat smooth clean surface (kitchen countertop) and go over it firmly with the edge of a credit card. By doing this, you are ensuring the decal will release from the paper side but stick to the clear transparent side. Remove the paper backing. Spray the sticky side of the decal with the wet solution. Also spray the vehicle surface. Apply the decal, get it as close as you can to the correct position. Carefully and slowly peel back the transparent layer. Don’t be alarmed if the decal tries to release from the vehicle - go slow and do your best to hold down the decal with a wadded up paper towel while you remove the transparent layer. Unless you’re really lucky, the decal might be a little crooked. Don’t worry. Since you used the wet method, you can reposition it as many times as needed. Use an Xacto knife to trim any excess. Any bubbles can be worked out with a credit card or I used a paper towel to push them out to the edges. Bonus points to the seller for shipping these flat, as opposed to rolling them up. I’m sure this made a huge difference in the ease of installation. Mine turned out perfect. I just installed them today, so I can’t speak on longevity yet, but I will report back in a few months. The outer paper was cut too large to properly align and place the decal. Removing the paper from the decal was also difficult and caused the decal to stretch. The instructions claim the decal can be wet applied but that wasn’t true. I’ve had better luck with other decals but this was poor quality. Seller charged a restocking fee for the exact amount of the decals so don’t expect a refund.

The blue matched the blue of my 4xe. They were easy to apply

The quality of material used makes for an easy application. I have had others but the quality was terrible.
