Energizer Rechargeable NiMH Battery AA 1.2 V Power+ 2000 mAh 4-Blister [EN-PWRPL2000B4]

Solid batteries that I've been using for 2 years now with my VR Headset controllers. They're an absolute life saver for devices that need a constant charge for long periods of time. I get about 10 hours of life per charge, and it takes about 2-3 hours to charge them fully, so I always have a pair ready to go when the other pair runs out of power.

The quality is excellent; I've been using this brand for 10 years.

I've replaced nearly all of the batteries in my house with Energizer rechargeable batteries, and they've been a great investment. I did try to save some money by purchasing less expensive brands, but that turned out to be a mistake. I keep between 4 and 8 of these batteries fully charged in a battery organizer. When a device needs new batteries, I swap the depleted ones with the fully charged ones from my organizer. Then I charge the depleted batteries and return them to the organizer once they're full. These Energizer batteries have excellent charge retention. I've found they hold their charge for a long time while sitting in the organizer, ready for use. In contrast, the cheaper, off-brand batteries I bought lost their charge just from sitting in storage. I've since thrown all of those out.

Good product, charges quickly, long battery life

I've been on a quest to identify a rechargeable AA battery that will fit in tight devices. Trying to use seller supplied diameter specifications has proved difficult as that information is vague or outright unreliable. While digging deep on the internet I found one passing comment suggesting Energizer 2000 mAh AA batteries were "smaller". and perhaps better for tight devices. Not trusting any published dimensions, I purchased a four-pack of the Energizers on Amazon and measured the diameter with a digital caliper. My average reading was .560 inches which is .010 to .012 inches smaller in diameter than the other brands I measured. As it turned out, they dropped right into some tight LED candles we had. Note: I did remove the shrink-on label from some Amazon brand rechargeables and this helped but I scuttled that idea because of the danger of short circuiting in the devices. I wanted a battery with the label intact, but small enough to fit easily. These Energizer 2000 mAh versions accomplished that mission. Note: 2000 mAh only in this review.
