ResMed Quattro FX Full Face Replacement Headgear - Small

I have been wearing a medium, I ordered this small and it works great. I have had it over a month and it has not stretched so much that I cannot use it. The medium always stretches and becomes uncomfortable.

Although the small size didn't work for me, my medium size is the best headgear I have ever had. No more marks on the forehead from supports other masks have. areas that touch the skin on this is much better than other materials. I won't buy anything else.

I buy this about once a year. I always start one size smaller as they stretch over time. I’ll probably continue to use the mask I have until I’m forced to switch.

The elasticity in these type of headgear wears out in a week or two. I have a pile of useless headgear because they stretch out too fast, and they're far too expensive to just keep replacing. I'm sure they're priced like this because insurance pays for the replacements, but I just find that wasteful and disgusting...a big part of why our healthcare is so expensive! Why won't anyone make a headgear that lasts for more than a few weeks? CPAP therapy is for life, after all. I've contemplated modifying a scuba mask to hold my face mask in place, because I'm so tired of constantly adjusting then ordering another new headgear.

The comfort and fit of this head gear worked perfectly for me. I was also pleased with the price of the head gear.

SAME AGAIN, PURCHASED THE WRONG SIZE AND IT STILL FITS PRETTY GOOD. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE STILL SLEEPING LIKE A BABY.

First off: this mediocre review relates to the product itself, not the supplier, who was outstanding. The product arrived in good shape, as advertised, and ahead of schedule.I really like the concept of the Quattro FX mask. It fits well, it doesn't obstruct my vision when I'm wearing it (thereby allowing me to watch tv while wearing the mask), and it doesn't leave marks on my forehead like the regular Quattro.My only complaint is that the headgear stretches quickly and badly. I'm a medium, but if I buy the medium, it stretches beyond the limits of the velcro within a month. The smaller size is tight at first, but stretches very quickly into a more manageable size. And the velcro straps are short enough on the small that I don't stretch out of them for at least a few months. According to my respiratory therapist, I have the gear properly adjusted, the stretching is just a well known issue with this product.I don't know if Resmed designed the stretching to encourage frequent replacement, but it is very annoying. Other headgears from Resmed and others don't seem to stretch this badly. If you've got the money to replace the mask on a monthly basis, the FX is a great system.
